PSO of v1. Good game it was. In its time. Yep. Online mode is free. Our character name wasn't in a color of urine. Flexible difficulties. Stats were perfectly balanced. At least more balanced than the version after this one which is...

PSO of v2. An okay game it was. In its time. Yep. But for online mode, you must pay. And our character name was in a color of urine. Ultimate Mode was bad. It encouraged us not to play legitly. Stats of newer weapons/armors are all balanced poorly with v1 players around.

What I am talking about here excluded the GC/X-Box versions. So in the poll, take your pick. Which do you prefer?

DC v.1 wasn't very balanced at all, because of a little thing called weapon photon proficincies. Yeah, those percents you find on your weapons. The percents were so incredibly overpowered, since the amount that the percent added ATP-wise would take into account your own total ATP with the weapon equipped.

So, let's look at mechguns.
Let's say I have 500 ATP, and mechguns that add like 20 ATP or so. 520 ATP. If I get mechguns that have 50% to dark, when I attack dark creatures it uses 780 ATP. Maybe not that unbalanced, right?

But as you level, let's say your ATP gets close to 700 or so. 720 with those mechguns, 1080 with 50%. This is without S/D, and in VHard to boot.

This is why something like a Spirit Gungnir, 60% Machine, could legitimately do over 1600 damage, without even really trying.

Now, for ver.2, yes, it was hard... until you broke the defense barrier. Then you could lay waste again, as long as you had decently percentaged weapons. I beat all of Ultimate with a legitmate level 106 HUmar with just a Red Sword and mag invulnerability. The Red Sword didn't even have any dark %, but had maybe 25-30% a.beast. Once I stopped doing 100 and broke the barrier with zalure/shifta, I was doing well over 800 damage per hit, since nearly all my stats were maxed out due to unlimited material usage.

Mag invulernability was overpowered as well. An Apsaras was my hunter's best friend in Ultimate, since it gave me invulernability almost every 20 seconds, and it last so long you could clear rooms without having to even do much damage per hit before your invulnerability ran out.

Read the last sentence of the first paragraph again please.

Well, consdiering they used the same damage system.
And saying ver.2 was less balanced doesn't mean that I can't say that ver.1 wasn't very balanced either.

Read the description of this forum again please. Trash. You are reading trash here. Let's not deal with what I'm saying here so seriously. I don't want another lecture. I knew v1 wasn't very balanced, but it was more satisfying to me compare to v2 which you already know.

Exactly.
I am all about the irony.
I'm surprised you haven't all figured that out yet.

I saw it, but I don't necessarily recall what was there.

Then this quote (which was your post) doesn't make sense, if you recall what was there.

How can the "I am all about the irony" post not make sense when I do not recall what a post after it said?

Usually posts refer to other posts above it, unless it's a post that creates a topic.

This is getting all quotely here, and a big screw up to the topic that your lecture had partly caused. May I repeat, I'm been serious with you because you are not trash in here.

Then by all means continue on with your topic.
But, claiming FKL soil is getting to be a tiresome excuse as a whole. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wink.gif
