I want a Photon Launcher and I plan on completing Normal soon. The item database says every Section ID gets a chance of getting it from Hard Volt Opt. But, I have one doubt... what if i dun get it the first time? Can I place a pipe there so if I don't I can jus pipe back and fight him again? And so on if he don't drop it... I really want a Photon Launcher and I just want this verified... http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif Ty ne1 who helps out... http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

No. You must beat the Mines to fight him again.

Or you can do 3/4s of TTF (Twards the Future - online quest, fight bosses in nearly rapid succession).

I know that. I meant im gonna complete Mines regularly on Hard but when I get to the boss, can I place a pipe there so if I dont get a Photon Launcher I can pipe back and fight again!

IM GONNA DO THE GAME NORMALLY! I DIDNT MEAN GO RIGHT TO MINES! I WAS GONNA DO FOREST< CAVES< MINES< RUINS< ETC!!!

I am going to go through the game on hard! please read more carefully!...

i think what he meant was if you fight vol opt and don't get it you have to beat the entire mines level again to fight him once more i don't know though

ramar.. if you beat mines.. and beat vol opt, you have no other choice but to save and quit, go back and fight him again.. once you beat him, offline or online, he is beaten until you either make a new room or turn save and quit out and start a new game.

jesus.. you're telling us to read more carefully when ketchup explained it the first time. Perhaps you should listen your own advice and pay more attention to the people that are trying to help you instwad of being rude and patronizing.

read this.
No. You must beat the Mines to fight him again.

that is your answer.

even on normal enemies, if you kill them,. they are dead until you RE-DO the area in which you killed them... same goes for bosses.. you can't just pipe back to the entrance to a boss and it'll magically be there again.

There is a way to be able to fight a boss again without saving and quitting. We just can't disicuss it on this board.

I did answer your question in my first post.

You do have a chance though to get the Photon Launcher if you kill him again (after saving and quitting, or joining another game online).

There's a hack that lets you fight bosses without saving and quitting?? How on earth would they do that...

I think it's best to join games online
with luck he gets in one game where they're near the boss

No offence but telling us to read the first post when your question (which barely made sence, I had to read 3 times to work out what you were asking..) has already been answered...
And this is how it works:
Do Mines
Fight Vol Opt
Quit and save
Repeat until the desired weapon drops.

Yes there is but it is not a hack; rather an exploit.
