Stating "Kill this thread" usually doesn't get that message across, especially in FKL. Rather, try "Would a moderator please lock this thread" or "May I request this thread be locked by a moderator", or something similar.

"Kill this thread" to an undetermined target of the phrase isn't very clear, to say the least.
