Today, at work, i was asked to remove all of the weeds from a rock-enclosed garden. Seeing as there were only two wanted plants in the entire 5x5 m thing, i did not really need to discriminate.
Once i had plucked half of the damned weeds out, i noticed that three ant colonies (which i had unearthed) were at war. The three types were distinct: the regular black ones (about the size of your little finger's nail), the red ones (half of the black size, but with greater numbers), and the mixed type (largest, with a red thorax).
Whilst each colony attempted to bring their eggs to a lower level, the others tried to steal as many as possible. It seemed that the mixed ants were kicking ass, with their large size and number advantage. After one bit my work glove, i decided that i needed to step in.
I began to defend the black base, and smoosh as many red bastards as i could find. Soon, the war was over.
On my lunch break, i visited my little friends. After donating a large helping of my cinnamon bun, it hit me. I AM THEIR GOD. I am older than they can comprehend, with strength they can not understand. I even know more than all of them together could ever learn.
