Are you going to import PSO for gamecube? Do You want to mod

Assumably this device works like the DC-X, where you put the boot disk in, take the disk out, put imported game in, and play imported game. But requires no mod chip.

it is buyrite so if you plan on purchasing this add 2-3 weeks on the deilvery date and you should be good to go.

25 bucks? You can get a full switch-mod from colorconsole.com for that price. Import-playing cds or whatever you call them are really annoying. You have to spend 10 minutes loading and unloading games everytime you have to play.

more like 1 minute or less. i used the dc-x to boot my pso v2 import. its not a pain in the ass, and its a lot easier. ok colorconsoles.com costs what 30 bucks for a mod chip? +you have to pay to send your gamecube +pay for them to ship it back.
if i am wrong crrect me, but that is what it seems like.

I don't even think the GC boot disk is out. It was announced for the UK market first and we still haven't even had ours.

I still think modding your system is the best way but that's just my opinion.

The UK version is out on the 28th of June, apparently (along with the Gamecube Action Replay).

There's another point...mod the gamecube make lose the warranty, use a boot disc is way safer

We don't even know if the boot disk will change the GC's bios to allow it to format memory cards in jp format, if it can't do that then it's not going to be able to save.

That could be a major problem.

All of the memory cards are the same. It just won't let you save both US and JP games on the same one. So it doesn't matter where you get the memory card from.

It sounds like a great solution but I would wait it out to see some people test it first... And I for one hate buy-rite... I have heard so many horror stories about their shipping and orders that is not even funny. However, they could have recently changed their habits so I dont know.

yah. u'd think someone else would have it also. unless someone can find another site with it, you should just mod your GC. I'm not saying that the boot disc is bad, just that it's funny that buy-rite only had it. hmmm. maybe I can find some old friends. did anyone here know a "Heero" on PSO? or perhaps you knew my two friends Chen Zhen or Owen.
