Subby hasn't been able to sleep all night. Subby would like to sleep. Subby can't seem to do it. Can you help Mr. Sandman find Subby and her insomniac mind?

Subby would greatly appreciate it.

The question is, is Subby straightedge or not.

Melatonin, or NyQuil. Works for me most of the time.

Or if you prefer the non-drug approach, counting sheep never hurts. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif

Well, you could always run around and exhaust yourself. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_confused.gif

Tried exhausting myself, that only made me physically exhausted as well as simple tiredness.

I have not, have never been, nor will ever be straight edge. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

And I don't do the nyquil thing if I don't absolutly have to. I'd rather not get accustomed to having that running through my veins.

Subby needs to stop talking in 3rd person. Only Uncle Bob can do that. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif

Subby, being the proud holder of an English Lit degree, knows that Uncle Bob is NOT the first individual to speak in the third person. While it may be new to this board, he is merely copying a schtick from someone else. Not that there is anything wrong with that, and Subby does hope Uncle will not take offense.

You could down some NyQuil. Or if you're a smoker, some herb would work.

...Just memories of a time gone by. *Whistles inoccuously*

herb is no option... and I have no nyquil, even if I wanted to drink some. Ah well, I'll drift off at some point.

Perhaps a sledgehammer? Worked for me a few times. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif

Alas, no sledgehammer available and the hardware store doesn't open for another hour.

I think I will just crawl under the covers and shut out the rest of the world. Hopefully I can fool myself into sleepfulness.

That works...sometimes...

If it's a bit too warm you could just have a fan running for a bit... I find it's easier to sleep in a room that's a bit cool, but that's me personally.

I assume you've already tried to blindfold your eyes to keep it dark for a while...

Ah ha! The warm milk treatment!

No no! That's bad! The caffiene intake in that'll keep you awake longer! (Black tea = Caffiene +1)

Sometimes I start falling asleep at the computer when I have the large fan going behind me at an angle.

It's really annoying sometimes, actually. -_-

true, but its also thouroghly relaxing... possibly relaxing enough to outwiegh the chemical effect of caffine.

Watcha do is stay off the computer and pretend someone is on it, say, an older/younger brother, and they promise to give it to you in 5 minutes. Then you get so bored you just lie on the ground and you get to sleep.

I do it all the time! Only without the pretending http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif
