Damn, I'm probably gonna get flamed for this. please, I request you do NOT turn this into another long argument about cheating/vs not cheating, please? Every other discussion on this board seems to degenerate into that.
This is just my own personal wishlist and set of ideas. Feel free to pick them apart.
First off, levels:
PSO always felt a bit restrictive (Which is fine for things like caves). The 'open' levels, such as the forest should feel more open. Maybe a forest or jungle level where you actually have to weave in amongst trees and such. The terrain should be more varied as well. From what I've seen of the GC PSO trial editions, this seems to be happening. Cool.
For more enclosed spaces, maybe create levels... catwalks you can climb onto, hop off of, etc. Make the levels seem a little less flat. Also, give us more things to interact with in the levels... maybe a door you have to blow apart to get past, secret passages, etc. The things that have popped up in the online quests & challenge mode are an excellent example... now give them to us in regular play as well!
Next stop, enemies...
Remember what I said about varying the playing field? Well, let's make some enemies to take advantage of that! fewer 'Booma-type' hulking idiots that just wander over to smack you, and more unique enemies. Vary it by level of course, with more of the really nasty stuff in harder levels. For instance, you could create a ceiling crawler, that skitters across the walls a ceiling, to drop onto your hero. Give some of them projectile attacks, perhaps with less damage but greater rate o fire (But only if you put in a suitable amount of cover for us!) Oh, and get rid of those damned megid-spitting flowers. THAT was just mean!
And now, for something completely different... SPELLS!
Let's see some different types here. We have weapons to inflict status ailments on baddies, why not spells? Who here would like to be able to poison the baddies, instead of the other way around? Status spells (Such as magic resistance, speed increase, flame enchant etc.), and maybe a non-elemental attack spell that hits regardless of resistances, to give those poor forces something effective to use in Ruins. Some categories of spell should be exclusive to forces.
And now, everyone's favourite! WEAPONS
First off, we need to cut back on the clone weapons. there is a huge number of weapons out there, from first equipment to rare, that look EXACTLY the same. The sheer number of weapons should be reduced, and more of these weapons given a unique look. If some of the normal weapons didn't look so much the same, I don't think there would be such desperation for rares.
While we're at it, why not make percentages grindable, like bonuses? This way, if someone finds a rare they like, but the percentages make it useless for where they want to use it, instead of trading it or trying to find another (being forced into a weapon type they don't like, such as handguns, just to get a decent percent) why not give another option? The percentage grinders would be acquired in exactly the same manner as bonus grinders, and would give 1, 2 or 3% addition to the percentage you chose. Up to three categories can be ground to a maximum of 60% (Or whatever the weapon's set max is). this would allow you to take your cherished, but weak -35/0/0/0/-20 double saber and grind it into a powerful weapon, without having to play forever to find another with better percents. This also allows you to take that s-rank you worked so hard for, and allow you to mod it to keep up with that monkey king bar someone fluked out and found.
Rares SHOULD be a little easier to find, with it averaged out so that you find 1 or 2 rares of the appropriate power level when you reach a certain point. i.e. when you get to level 40, just about when you're finishing off Hard, you have a good chance of finding a doublesaber or some low-power rare. Spread the rares out more in the game so we don't have to play for 100+ hours before we find a VISK that we can't use.
The BEST rares should be EARNED, not found randomly. This rewards players who work hard. This has been don a fair bit in Dreamcast PSO already... good, keep it up.
Since each player can only earn _1_ s-rank, that s-rank should be permanently attached to the character file. The character will not drop this weapon, you cannot trade it or sell it... unless your character file is completely corrupted, you will still have this weapon. This might piss off those people who spend their time collecting s-ranks, so if that's not acceptable, then it should be set so that you can get multiple s-ranks with the same character. That way you can at least replace lost ones.
(Again, PLEASE no comments on cheating! Just pretend I live in a perfect world, okay?)
Finally, TOWN
Let's have some fun with this. Players are always trying to divest themselves of extra rares, trade and whatnot. So why not set up a shop to do just that? Each ship will have a trader's shop. There you can drop off an item you wish to sell/trade. You set what you want for it, and head off. Then you can come back and check periodically. If it sells, you can pick up your booty. If it doesn't, you can take back your item and rethink your pricing strategy, or just keep it. Others can browse the wares, and let you pick up things you normally wouldn't be able to buy.
Anyway, that concludes this post for now. Any thoughts?

Most of thoughs are good thoughts, but EP1 and 2 are pretty much done. So...maybe Ep 3and 4?
my opinions:
-unique tech for forces. from what i heard, non-force characters cant learn every tech in epi1&2.
-unique look for weapons. db saber looks cool in epi1&2, may b there'll still b a few crappy look weapons(i dunno)
-that s-rank is unique to each character idea is soooooooo cool, i really think they should do that, u know waht i mean, everyone's using that s-rank needle coz some dupers decided that they should dupe it, isnt s-rank meant to b a prize for our hard work in c mode?
-% grinders are nice, but if u r willing to spend some time at the tekker u can get an all positive% weapon(may b 100 tries -_-;)
-i dun like the idea of more interactive environment, sounds too FPS to me, blowing up walls and stuff....
-may b a BBS in every lobby? so ppl can post whatever they r willing to trade, or want there, and ppl check it to c if theres anything we want?
-i think they should give us somewhere to spend meseta on -_-;
-a special unit called rare/finder will b cool, ie increase the chance of finding rare by 5% or somethin XD

The four things I wanted added to from V1 and V2:
- Server side saving
- More balanced chars (which they seem to have done with GC PSO)
- Added to Challenge mode and a scoreboard for best times (all cheating would have to be rid to avoid this though)
- Sonic Team organising Battle Tournaments with non-PSO prizes (like Sega of Europe did with MSR and Chu Chu Rocket)

Those are good ideas...I like the official battle mode tournaments.. Since the mini tournaments organised between friends are very boring. Not to mention without a prize...

MY wish list
-Improved rare system, I don't complain about being too hard to find stuff but I know the rare system could be better
-More online quests, challenge stages, battle modes
-less cheating like being something weird since in dc cheating is everywhere
- I dunno how but make the game a bit harder.Playing legit, without transfers, being first time I payed ultimate, reach falz at lv 99 is sad. The game has many things that help 2 much, being able to pipe down and up all the time to restore mates/traps/fluids/etc... hiding behind doors, bad IA of enemies,etc..
-A lot more space in bank, bigger log window, bigger guild card file, 100 wasn't enough, more mails space, basically improved chat options

That's one of the most annoying things I came across in PSO. When I was in a lobby full of people talking...It would skip somebody's chat bubble because they had the same colour bubble. I'd go back and the log was so small by the time I got to the top of the log window, what that person said was gone. Also the fact that the window would automatically scroll to the bottom of the log for the new message written.

I like that idea of upgrading rares since many that you find are damm-near useless anywhere in the game*points at FLAME VISIT*you know what I'm talking about.
C-mode weapons are everywhere due to duplicating and item creating which is sad.But one per person isn't too fair since to one up your times you have to create a new character to get another weapon.
Scenery interaction would be great in the bigger areas of the Gamecube version since like the Forest/Beach has many large areas and smaller tunnel like paths.
I also wish Robots could have better items than only the Star Atomizer which is the only way a robot can help his/her teammates. Why not an anti-type item to cure others or an energy sharing add-on to robots. Otherwise the HUcast you have just looks like a one-man killing machine that cant help anyone out other than heal 10 times and kill everything.

may sound stupid, but right since v1 i wanted a place with falling snow...
i so wished for a snow-level in v2, but well... the snow-dragon-nest didnt really do it...
aw, there is rain in forest2, why not a snowlevel? - forest3? - or at least a download- AND online-quest... -_-;
also, since there are new lobby-actions, i want my character to sit down at the floor, i for myself sit on the ground a lot when i'm waiting for something/-one... i want my charas to be able to do that too...

Ok im about to go nuts on this one so bear with me if it seems unbalanced as im typing whatever comes to mine lol.
Forest 3-I like the forest 3 and snow idea,this level will include all rappies being AL RAPPY.The Al rappy drop all the ver 1 rares it use to drop on the dreamcast versions.There are no walking bomma type monsters in this area.The mosters are--
(NONE)Snow Warth-This enemy drops blue looking orbs which turn into batra lv 25 when it hits the ground,easy to avoid but not funny if a low level char is hit which will probably kill them in one hit.These creatures only fly down to punch opponets which is a good time to strike it before it hovers back up into the air to cast more lv.25 batra bombs.
(Native)Al Rappy-The regular rappy only stronger!It drops items that are considered hard to find in ver.1 and 2 and drops plenty of mesta sometimes!Al rappies will replace regular rappies in this stage.
(Native)Omega Rappy-This rappy is dangerous and often rare to find.It flyies into the air just enough and then drops to the ground causing all team members to lose 200 to 1000 hp http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_eek.gif.Try to kill off the protective AL RAPPYs that surround it in order to kill Omega rappy before it does it's "earthquake" attack.Too fat to attack with it's beaker,it casts zonde and uses staus attack zalure in order to defend itself.
(A.Beast)Pine lilly:BE VERY CAREFUL around this lilly,it uses a special attack which causes zalure,jellen,poisen,paralyze,slow, and confuse.Be ready with stats recovery medicen before attacking this creature.(Final Fantasy anyone?) ;p
(NATIVE)HildeBlue:Same as a Hildebear but stronger!Drops rare weapons that are considered hard to find in ver 1t's punches may inflict confuse status so be ready with recovery medicen.
(A.beast)HildeLunatic:A very VERY hard to kill monster.Due to the heavy snow it is hard to spot.When attacking it is even harder for oppentents to trigger an succesful attack.(In forest 3 you can't trigger the enemies when the snow ramdomly falls really hard and the wind picks up)It casts spell Rafoie which is a mystery...
(Forest)Unknown A:This unknown creature looks like an FOnewman but is pale in the face.It casts all spells but is fairly weak.Perhaps this Force was possesd?It is very hard to find these creatures.
(NONE)Batra:This creature seems to attah itself to any passing hunter.It explodes which cause instant death.

ok to speed things up i'll list some enimes and spells I think should have been added.
(spell)-Heavonic:This spell acts just like heaven's punisher and HEY why not?It's not unfair since it doen't do 2000 damage,it does the same amont the punisher weapon does only it costs tp for forces,15 tp per shot.The higher the level the more range it gets.
(spell)-Card:PSO should have that Final Fantasy type card game in a PSO fasion.All classes can use this skill and it costs no tp,however.No exp is gained and a rare weapon or any type of item will fall from the moster carded.It has low ata,so don't expect to get a cheap run going into ruins and saying "DON"T FIGHT EM<CARD EM!"Players can collect 10 cards in levels then take them to the bank where they can hold 200 cards in all.Players can take as many as they like into the casino.
CASINO-time to introduce the casino of PSO.Yes,you've all heard of it and now it's final.
Chu chu rocket(500 mesta)-How many coins will you purchase?The more you buy in coins the longer time you can play.You can be cheap and buy one coin(500 mesta 2 mins)or go nutz and buy 10 coins!That's 10 mins of chu chu with any online friend!Running low on time and purchased 10 coins?No worry simply pause the game and there will be 4 options."Buy more"more coins for longer play."exit"Exit your game and cancel time."disconnect"Gotta save your game no worries!"options"(some games won't have this)fix up a few options here.
Rappy Pappy!(500 mesta)No idea lol,just a thought.
QTE boxing(500 mesta):Who else rembmers shemune qte boxing?Watch your char punch the bricks outta the game while all the time sarpining your reflexes.(Others will see you play this as well if your on it.
Dots:(500 mesta)Same as sheumen dots.Focuse your chars hand and try to score some on the board.
Ping pong:(500 mesta)No idea what type,perhaps a sonic adventure type ping pong?
change music:Yugi Naka admits to having players bore of the same music,so he made this REALLY KICK ASS machine that requires 1000 mesta to play.The songs range from old sonic games to remixes of others.Originals,all sorts of stuff that will make you say,f--k ultimate mode let's hit the CASINO.He made it where only the palyer can hear the music,what more fun to brag about who's listing to what.There is even special songs temporaly added on special days for 2000 mesta,but you better hurry before that day is gone along with a special theme of songs!It will be listed under "special event" when you go to select a song to play."i'd like players to liten for hours of enjoyment"states Naka-san.
Card Game:So,you went to ruins to card that damn c-bringer who laughs at you everytime you drop by ruins?CARD HIS ASS lol(if you can).Infact,it is recomened that you card at least 5 monsters in order to enjoy Yugi Naka's card battles in the casino.Simply log on at "the computer"In the long hall at the end of the casino.There you can register a game and for 2000 mesta you can play people for their cards.What?you say you have ALL cards because you took 100 hours trying to card ALL monsters!?IMPOSSIBLE!You would be a hacker if you had ALL cards!Some cards such as De Rol LE require that you do special things in order to card em.And rare mosters are EXTREMLY hard to card.Besides,what if you lost your MOST RAREST card against a pro,no point in disconnecting so you can "dupe" that card.You registered into the computer and it copied a list of you cards,don't worry,if you got disconnected by a call in a middle of a game you can..uh..damn wait I burned myself on this one lol.Suggestions please.Oh,if you got disconnected BEFORE you lost the card it will let you re-try again.Avoid sore losers who "disconnect" on purpose thogh.

ok,go to the second floor and talk to the FOmar in black looking tekker.He will let you customize a weapon of your choice
AtK-Slecting this puts the sword type pictue on your weapon.You get more bonus on attack than any other stat.
AtA-This puts the gun picture next to your weapon.When searching for material,you will receive more bonus on range type than any other stat.
Mst-This will put the cane animation on your weapon,you will recive more MST material when looking for power ups.It is recomened for advanced players.
The tekker will then explain(if requested)that you go offline and select your char again.You will see a new option that says WEAPON(just like you see DRESSING ROOM when 100000 mesta is aquired)
In weapon room you get a small paint program that lets you paint your weapon.to the right is an option that let's you add "parts" to the weapon.To the top is a menu with numbers on it(like the one where you create a char)here is the followin layout,the are 12 in all
1-turns CO into an regular sword
2.Tuens wep to hand gun
3-turns wep to rod
4.Turns wep into diska
5.Turns wep into mechgun
6.Turns wep to rifle
7.Turns wep into soul eater type

Now,this wep if used now does 0 damage,has 0 atp,and everything else just 5.Chars will then be able to go back to the casino and mabey ask where can I find material to power up my weapon?Of coarse,you can then go to differnt parts of PSO and collect these kinds of mats for your weapon.
Fire matirial:High chance to find in caves,adds +5 fire damage to weapon.(adds fire damage to weapon at lv.20,plus 100 atp plus non-element fire at lv 50,200 atp bounus plus non-element fire plus 10 resit to fire damage at lv 75,10 fire resist,200 atp bounus and non-element damage plus -10 tp cost on all fire spells at lv 100.
Ice mat:Addes +5 ice damage to weapon.(no freeze stat for char at lv 20,put freeze on target plus no freeze fo char at lv 30,puts freeze on moster plus batra plus no freeze for char at lv.50,puts blue aura around char plus lv 5 batra plus no freeze plus freeze monster at lv 75,puts blue aura arond char plus no freeze for har,freezes onsters,casts lv 5 batra,and has a VERY high chance to freeze monters.pluys 10 ice resist)

1)Photon color option on S-Ranks. Make the hilt or metal part of the weapon gold to compensate.
2)Most BA'ers like me prefer rule 6, so i would like to see more maps like it just to change things up once in awhile. Close an personal an no cat an mouse bs.

Whoa, you guys put alot of thought into this. Hehe, Hayabusa...it would be cool to have a unit, like God item that allows androids to use 20 or 30 items of the same thing. Other than that, you guys have mentioned everything I wanted already.

Battle
My main wish is that BA was more developed. I'll be surprised if this really happens, after seeing exactly Rule 1 again in the Trial.
When you want to battle, you should be able to set:
* teams
* time (from a few options above 10 mins)
* area (ANY)
* keep or reset levels (to suit the difficulty the battle is set in).
(Baddies off, normal, or lethal would be a nice option too).
On top of those options have some work done that allows any "rule" to be played (ie meseta, last man standing, or deathmatch, deathmatch in small room etc). If they could just do those few things!!
For example, play rule 4, in Forest, with keep levels, on teams. Would be great imo.
Or with a little fence/wall construction, have a rule 6 style battle in Mines ... on that bridge perhaps?
Obviously some things wouldn't work, like last team standing in Caves 1 would get dull fast, but let the players decide!
All they would have to do is modify the levels only slighty, with the gizmos they can already put in.. traps, stompers, fences, etc.
While on the subject, seeing as battle did not affect your character afterwards, I see it as extremely stupid design to allow FSODs to still delete your items.
When a battle is started, a full save should be implemented first, so full safety was ensured in the one place where multiple weapons were most required.
And ALL weapon specials should work!! Why didn't paralysis work, except from an S rank???
One last thing, I would like S-Rank kill special to be disabled in battle. We had to rule this out cos it made it too easy for a low level to kill anyone.. the special ignored EDK.
Search All
Another thing they'd BETTER put in is a freakin' "SEARCH ALL GUILD CARDS" option. Sheesh!
Magic
I wish the magic had a bit more imagination and variety.. all the spells do is cause damage based on EIC etc, and rabarta/razonde have their small perks.
Force would become alot more unique if their magic had.. tricks. Eg, simple barta would freeze the ground it travelled across for a short time, and freeze baddies that walkd on it. Gifoie would be able to set low EFR baddies on fire, who in turn cause damage to anything they come across. Zonde could do a similar thing with machines.
The could have very different casting effects too.. like megid, would require a huge warmup time, but work 90% reliably. So the FO would take position, and the team would defend her until it had powered up.
This would require harder baddies tho.. which PSO is lacking.
And yes, like someone said, some better status spells would be much appreciated.. to cause Slow Mo, or confusion would be nice. Like, if you want Slow Mo, the FOrce has to permanently be 'concentrating', being defended, while draining her TP.
Bit much to ask I know, but more complexity like that wouldn't go astray in the FO game.

W all know it sucks hehe.. I saw one thing in the Trial where the baddies turned and ran.. and ran.. right up the beach, then hid. Not bad.
How about for a start, baddies always try to find and pick off the weakest defensive character. This would make FO seem much more valuable, the team would be forced to lookout for her.
It would also discourage high level teams from levelling n00bs up in 15 minutes. N00bs would come to se that constantly dying would get irritating. On th otherhand, babysitters would be appreciated alot more.
Much more fighting dynamics from the baddies, such as fighting in herds, retreating and running until you chase them down, going kamikaze once in a while... changes in pattern are desperately needed! Just like us, they should have a reason to defend a particular fighter of their own.
Counterattacking should be more than just a missed hit. If you get a miss, the baddie should be able to take proper control of this, doing their own little combo, shove, large attack, etc.
AI should also be improved to complement the better range of FO powers. If they see the stronger FO taking too much control, they go for her instead maybe. Wolves and th like could learn to fear the Foie casting players, machines could go berserk with rage, stampeding towards the zonding person.
I would also like it if doors didn't provide a safehouse. If you want to have a break, go to P2, but I don't think being able to "turn off" the baddies brains as you duck out the door, only to take 1 step in and shoot, is a very good idea at all. It makes even low levels be able to pass any level, with patience. If doors didn't allow this, fighters would have FIGHT, run, or dodge well, until this wave was dead.
Classes
The class distinctions have been a bit screwy so far. The FO are getting some work don by the sounds of it.
Like the new magic I suggested, I wish RAngers had new things that made them more different to hunters. Faster recovery from gun fire, ATA that was REALLY noticable with guns (ie, hunters should really have trouble using a gun), better range than the other classes on all gun weapons, etc.

Weapons
Someone suggested S Rank photon colours.. I totally agree with that.. I always really wanted a White Saber.
But being able to grind % is extremely dumb imo (no offence). People max a weapon's grind easily enough over time. Not only would it create a world full of 60%s, but would destroy all point in finding a good 30%+ in the first place.
I wish the common range of weapons extended into the game's final modes too. ULT was sorely lacking any decent choice at all.
If you wanted a partisan, find a pick.
If you wanted a Saber, get a Yam.
If you wanted a Spread.. all there was was an S Rank really.
Back to rangers.. they especially need a better weapon range. The Rifles should have FAR greater range (it really wasn't that big a difference on th DC). They were just dumb handguns.
Actual "Sniper" type of guns, that didn't combo, but were some of the most lethal damage in on hit.
The ability to equip TWO handguns. Simple as that, two baddies could get targetted, and each would combo alternately in the one, 6 button-press-combo. ATA could drop a bit for this. How cool would it be to see a RAcast with his arms aiming in different directions, firing off alternate rounds.. his head swivelling to check each aim as he fires. With hoards of baddies looming up to him, it creates one fantastic scene imo.
Force weapons should hav far greater impact on their magic, rather than their own specials which needed ranger ATA anyway. Eg "Equipping such and such will drain your physical strength while giving you heavenly powers of Ice"... gibarta would be able to push baddies around, but the character would become horrificly weak.
"This weapon will allow you to dramatically increase your team's defence but will make reviving impossible in the presence of enemies."
The add-MST weapons.. they were a joke.
I don't mind the weapons as they are, just that they're all made for hunter style attacking, even when things like Canes simply aren't going to work for that.
Oh and I wish S Rank needles are removed.
Rares
I wish the system was toned down. Simple as that, imo. I was legit for 167 levels (and that's only one character), and I don't think I got fairly rewarded.
Malkavian doesn't complain 'cos he rips everyone off!!! >_< =p
I also REALLY disliked quests having rewards that should have been findable rares. Many of the quest items were useless, so making them free reduced their novelty value to 0.
Similarly, I didn't like finding things like an Elysion, only to see it be much worse than a quest item (Yam).
IMO quests should give no rewards, or reward neither novelties, or strong items; instead, things like big EXP bonus, or mats, or nifty effects on P2 hehehe.
That's it basically.
Better battle development.
Better class distiction, with more suitable weapons, so rangers weren't indistinct, and FO were very very different.
More imaginative magic.
Better AI.
Proper range of weapons through the higher modes.
Fairer rare system, with none in quests.
Search all, and doors don't stop baddies. =]
Oh and a clear-screen option for taking pics! And more camera control features.
Everything I ask for wouldn't be hard for them to do I reckon! >_< Except AI, I'd let them get away with that, but I know I'll be disappointed to see alot of areas unimproved when they could have been.. especially battle.

But % grinds would be incredibly dumb imo hehe. Mechs with 60% nat, become common? 60% Needles??

I like it how a 25% Yasmin 9200M is already valuable. % grinds would destroy that.
One other little wish I had. The beeps for selecting options.. I didn't like them. I wish they were nice and soft.. maybe playing a random C, E, or G note as you fly through the options, making this beautiful chorus of trancey blips and blends. =]

I would really like more depth in the turain. Or ever go a step furthur and make the characters do curtain actions at certain places. Like climbing or swiming, or ever (*gasp*) jumping!
And also, one thing I hope that dosen't stop is the quailitly of the quests. The DC quests were a ball, but there was always one thing that I thought would have made the whole game much better. A quest were you can fight in the city. Something like forest creaturs invade Pioneer 2 and you have to "deal" with them in the only way a hunter knows how.
Or if you really want to go crazy, a boss compleatly in Pioneer 2. Imagin yourself on a platform speading down the city. Renegade Hunters zoom up beside you in a car and jump onto the platform to attack you. Maybe you could even jump onto the bad guy's cars and attack them head on.

Yeh I thought of a quest where baddies patrolled P2, and getting to the shops was a mission in itself, and while you were shopping (with security cages setup) you'd be getting beaten up so would have to be quick. =]

oh yes, i really miss the search-all-guildcards-at-once-option
also, they should erase those who arent online anymore (when you search again after 1 or 2 hours playing) from the found-list
hm, force-weapons that instead of providing a lame tech for free, boost an existing tech from lv30 to a lets say virtual lv40, would be really nice, i agree.
and i agree on that big-EXP-bonus-instead-of-"rare"-as-reward-for-a-quest-idea...
there must be better ways to level up than running trough ruins with spread and invincible-mag over and over again... -_-;;
(i'm still lv128, will i ever be able to actually use the purple ring i found before gc-pso gets released in EU?)
and here, besides mentioning again that i want a snow-level, some new thoughts:
npc (secret tekkers?) who are willing to trade one rare against another - like, give me 10 picks and u get a doublesaber from me...
these npc could randomly appear everywhere - they say: hi, you give me 10 of the same weapon and get something better
the player says: yes, wait, i just pipe up to get them from the bank
and they: ok, but i have an important date soon, so hurry up
also they could include rare slot-items that cast a constant shifta/deband on the one who wears it (would be a big help for hunters offline, i think)
the option to have 2 adult mags (above lv100 maybe) to mate and produce a little baby-mag with passed onto status (mixture from the parents)... maybe you have to use a special (not quite that rare) item to have them mating, but i think this is would be great as additional online quest ^_^
instead of %-mats how about a slot-system for weapons too - like it's for armor? sounds like FF7 to me ^_^
or, the chance to get used grinders back from a weapon u dont need anymore - maybe at the tekker... or at least the option to fuse a new with an old weapon, where to new weapon gets the grinders from the old one and the old one disappears (like in parasite eve 1)...
this way you could also make a better weapon out of several others, lets say, you have a doublesaber with 15% forest and a same doublesaber with 15% caves - get it to fusion and you have a double saber with 10% in both forest and caves.
and, 25% forest, 5% cave + 5% forest + 25% cave = 15% on both forest and cave - or maybe more...
when a hunter finds a tech lv 20, but can only use techs up to lv15, there should be an option to lower the lv20 disk down to lv15 - or the hunter uses the lv20 disk like usual but gets lv15 as highest level... (i'm stll looking for shifta lv15...) - but maybe thats a not that good idea... (ruins the trading in online mode...)
