I'm scared of the dark, failure, growing up to be something I hate... i.e. my mom, and at times being alone forever.

I have a fear of small snakes (I do not mind the big ones), anywhere south of the Loop on State Street (damn homeless people), failing at what I want to achieve, and for some strange reasons, asking women out (I can talk to them easily, but I never can get the nerve to ask them out).

Awww snakes are so awesome!! I used to own a Ball Python but then it got too big and I had to trade it in for two green iguanas.. who later on also got too big, so I gave them to a nice couple who for some reason wanted iguanas.

lol thats clever, i loathe black widows but those fast running ones (the really big fat ones) are the worst!!!!!! at least black widows tend to stay in the garage and are slow moving and stay under things..

I have never seen a black widow. Are they not common in southern california?? The other day I felt something crawling up my back when i was sleeping, and then i smacked it off but it kept coming back. I still haven't figured out if this was a dream or for real... i'd rather think it was a dream! <shivers>

Not quite. But once I was In my room when I heard my teenage cousin shouting "HEEEAHHH! HEAAAAAAH!", which sounded he was being attacked. I rushed downstairs while still hearing his sharp screams and he was alone.
When I got there he was shaking his leg all around the place and still shouting.
- What? What? - I asked.
- A spider... - He said.

And when i was around 8 years old I remember seeing a spider the size of a tea pot and with legs as long as pencils. It was next to the basement entrance. During the time it was there nobody would go to the basement, me included! Until old pop came there and made a good use of his snickers.
