Hey there. Well the title pretty much states it all. I was wondering how you dissable programs on the startup for Windows 95. I know with Windows ME, you go to Run, and type in msconfig. However it is different for Windows 95. I have done it before for Windows 95, but I just don't remember. Well, thanks in advance.

two solutions.

1) go to start, programs , startup folder, take the files you want out of there.

2) go into the actual program itself and disable it through there.

1) startup folder
2) registry:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Microsoft/Windows/CurrentVersion/Run
(also RunOnce and others, depending on your OS)
I believe there's also a Run key under HKEY_CURRENT_USER

Remember, always be careful when editing the registry. Whee.
