I am going to be setting up a wireless network with 2 computers and I was wondering how much this would cost. If it is too much the computers are only 1 room apart so I *can* use wired and run them through the ceiling but I really don't want to.

802.11b gear is getting pretty cheap now.

For just a point to point link between a couple machines you can get two wireless cards and be done with it. If you need an access point so you don't have to keep a machine on all the time to provide access all the time, that adds of course. Just from my vague recollections from my last Fry's trip (so average price, some higher some lower).. PCI wireless cards go for some number under $100, laptop cards for ~$100-150, and access points (without anything else) run for $140-170. Of course you can always get an access point that doubles as a switch/hub and broadband router, if you want to pay of course.

Ugh, $100 each? I think I'll just get two cables and a router.
