ok...this mornin, i go on pso, fer a good leveling.

best place to find a game when all da americans are going to bed is vega.

DAMN! teh fsod struck, and I thought

"i have nothing much to lose, other than a pair of g assasins sabers i got off shiro, n.n, and a diska of liberator"

i switched off the console

the regular message came up you have lost all unequipped stuff, bla bla.

go into altair 4, find no one. i look at my items and guess what?

I LOST NOTHING.

WTF HAPPENED? was i saved by that one grass assasin?

well, anyway, looks like i'm invincible, full stop.

The spirit of the Grass Assassin had protected you from the FSOD i suppose.

Although that had happened to me once, i flipped out thinking i was going to lose my Red Partisan and Holy Ray, but i lost nothing.

It could be a different FSOD..?

it was as i was entering vega 1, the music went "drrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr"

You don't lose anything if you FSOD in the lobby, unless you just came out of a game (I think)

no, when i first started, i had to power short my modem, so i quit


went back on, fsoded, and the usual happened.

Every once in a while, an FSOD won't cause you to lose anything. It happened to me twice in a matter of minutes, once. At the time, I was trying to enter a lobby that turned out to be full. The third time I FSOD'd that night, however, I lost stuff.

Just let that be a lesson-- Don't carry anything important around in lobbies, unless you've got it equipped. Even then, I generally leave my weapons in the Check Room.
