well coming from daoc and EQ if you dont have stratigey you die and i was wondering if anyone ever had like a Hunter or 2 be "tanks" and take all the damage, do all the damage, the forces be "buffer/healers" and nukers, and the rangers pick off the enemies coming at the forces?? I think this would be a really great strategy and loads of fun... but maybe im thinking too deep heh.

Its a good strategy but would be hard to implement with only 4 players http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif.

tactics are mainly usable in Challenge mode, where they are really needed.
They are even harder to use in ulti because of the speed at which monsters move.

Thats the most basic team for PSO.
2 Hunters attack enemies close range, one usually with a saber the other with a sword/partisan.
1 Force heals and ups players and also weakens enemies. Sometimes cast a damage tech once and a while when things get rough.
1 Ranger sits back with a rifle and picks off enemies that might come to close to the force/make it through the hunters.
I'm hoping the new class system can allow groups of 4 forces to be just as good as 4 hunters/rangers.

Well I think people will make more forces now in GC. I'm going to be a FOmar and I think a lot of people will too.

yep FOmar for me too. and four forces would rock, 1 for debuffing everyone, and the other 3 cast Razonde and that AOE Ice spell to try to freeze , paralyze, whatever. and then they rezurect / heal whoever needs it.
