Wingies! =D

Are you ready for what i have to say?!!? Good.

Ahem. I got 2 whines for you.

1. The Katana like stated. And since thats like a Female Puppy... well you know what to do.

2. The BG. Well, its nice you got it all Ragoly but... It looks like she's floating! http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_eek.gif

She has no firm placement on the land.

But other than that. Thats a Stellar job! Especially how Shiny that Katana is!

I think that's a photo of a real katana...

Personally, I think I preferred it before you coloured it and added the accessories. No offence, but a lot of it looks tacked on now.

actually it's a render of a katana I found in a GIS. And this was my first photoshop colouring attempt http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Hmm... Not too bad. Not too bad at all. However, if you're interested in a serious critique, there are a few things you could improve on.

1. Proportion. Something just seems off about her proportion. I think her head is a bit too small for her body, and that her chest is a bit too large (her rib cage looks too big to me. Could just be me, though.)

2. The colouring seems a bit flat. Perhaps trying out the dodge/burn tools would help with that.

3. The Safety Heart and the katana definitely do not fit with the rest of the image. The Safety Heart mainly doesn't fit because it looks so much more realistic and finely detailed/shaded than the rest of the image. The katana doesn't fit for the same reason, but also because you could have been more careful when adding it to the image. You could try feathering the edges in the future.

4. As Tingle pointed out, it looks as though she is floating, and completely separate from her background. You can fix that by adding a shadow, and making sure that all shading and lighting effects cast shadows on both the character and the background.

I hope you don't think I'm being mean - I'm only trying to help. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

Mean? No, not at all http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif I like the critiques you and everyone else have given me. I wouldn't have posted here If I wasn't looking for people opinions! http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif I had thought I made her head a bit small..I should have given her a smaller body..she's really a petite lass anyway. her chest is fine though..not everything about her is petite http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wink.gif

Like most HUnewearls no doubt. but yes, I agree for teh most part with LadyJade on this one. I can see a heck of alot of petential though.

I noticed something with the feet. Being the naturaly wierd person I am, I notice that kind of stuff. I've always found it more difficult to draw feet than hands. I'm assuming it's because we don't spend alot of time looking how other peoples feet look for a drawing, than we do at their upper body.

I think the proportions are fine. To me, the head is a good size for the body. maybe slim down the upper back a bit? It looks a little too broad for a female.

all in all, good workings!
