I live in fucking North Carolina. My mom is in fucking Orlando. She's fine.

Eh, I don't have it too bad.

Sure, it took me four hours to try to get home after being unable to make it to school.

Sure, the main water line for the city whose water we get is busted and we don't have water for god knows how long.

Sure, I had to try to get a 7 year-old Dodge Stratus with 92,000 miles on it through a completely flooded interesection where the shallowest water is about a foot to a foot and a half and the deepest is around three.

But hey, we have power, the cable works, the cats have food, I have food, I have Code Red and plenty of ice in the freezer I can melt, and I made it home tonight and will not have to sleep on a cot in a Red Cross shelter at the local church. The house has not flooded, I am not homeless, and I am dry, sucking down the glass of water I left on the table this morning, and perfectly alright.

...I'm still fucking annoyed. XP

EDIT: To put it in another way, you still have something. A house, a car... hell your life. Yes, please try to be appreciative of what you have, some people have it a hell of a lot worse in this case, Frances.
