So, I'm sitting on Dial-up, at my mother's (free rent? Hard to pass up). I can only use it late night, and given that I work most mornings, that equals almost no net access if I want to take care of myself. Trying to get her to get broadband back in the house, but she's being really flakey about the whole subject... Damn her.

In any case, you guys haven't seen much of me around ('Rupt and Frink, that's why I haven't been on IRC much either), and likely won't till I can get this resolved. Worse comes to worse, I'm going to get broadband set up myself by the end of the month, regardless of whether she commits to something. But till then, I'll be around, just not even close to as much as I'd like.

I don't like Dial Up. It's a far reaching thing, not limited to AOL and it's hell spawned tentacular mass.

Dial Up != Internet Access
