A snippet..

"VPORT allows for a simple-one plug connection to an Xbox to achieve a sharper picture and more powerful gaming experience," commented Vic Theobalds, Worldwide Value TV Product Planning Manager, Thomson. "In game playing, the focus is on the picture -- with the players requiring a life-like image. Our new line of RCA TVs with VPORT is ideal for viewing the rich graphic details of Xbox games," he added.

Very nice, I'm glad I did'nt buy a newer TV already. The prices aren't that bad either, I was expecting them to be rather expensive. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_eek.gif

No, I go there for X-box news, reviews, previews, etc, etc.

The guys in the comments are right though. You might as well buy a 32 inch HDTV for a cheaper price and basically get a better TV.

I haven't checked into the HDTV's because they are way over priced around here. Even the 27 inch HDTV's are around $700-$800 here :

Unless thats the normal price http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_eek.gif

Either way, I find it interesting that they'd make a TV just for the X-box hehehe

That's the normal price Abdur, I don't agree on the Better the tv the more powerful the gaming experience is. Well at least it's not always true. I remember the NES days and my parents kicked my nes from the family big screen. I bought a black and white 11 inch tv from a pawn shop and boy, I never had sooooo much freakin' fun!!!! It actually enhanced my gameplay because it's different...either that or it was because I was playing in my own room so the privacy suped up the experience. Well, anywho... it proves my point that a better tv doesn't always guarantee more "Powerful" gameplay. *Buys a $2400 high resolution 72 inch'

Either way I'm not sure if I'll get a VPORT or an HDTV. I don't want anything smaller than 27 inches, so I'll prolly just save up and get a 32 inch for my own room.

The tv I currently am using is old and the picture is really blurry. The TV downstairs is alot better. I think I'd be content with a VPORT, it's more cost effective for me anyways. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

..pizza is here, goodbye!

Lucky rich folk, I had to save up my money to get a $150 TV. It's I think 18 inch, so it's not so bad. I don't buy expensive stuff because there's always a better price.
