The first time I didn't laugh at gore

Was last night. about 2:23 am to be precise. I was watching some anime show with a guy with one arm missing and little bottle cap sized things infront of his eyes. (he was bulky and had a blone ponytail too)

so anyway, I was watching this and the big guy and a purple haired lady were walking up those flights of stairs to get onto an airplane. the big guy was behind her, and a red dot appeared on the back of her head while she was walking up the stairs.

The guy gasps, and you hear a sniper rifle shot.

Blam!

the girls head explodes and she flips off of the stairs and onto the ground below. they showed a picture of her on the ground, and there she was, no head, laying in a pool of blood.

Normally I would have laughed at that... but I didn't. it was sad really.

Anime, what have you done to me?

And semi-gross, although I have seen worse.

well i suppose i may be able to sympathize a little. i mean, you guys know me, i've gone through gore movie to horror flick to a bunch of eaten up animals on my lawn. just seeing a random person's intestines pour out from their stomach without reason cracks me up as much as the next guy. but when theres a relation to whatever, its different.

The only times I've laughed at something really bloody and grotesque...was when I saw this video of some girl getting hit by a train as she was crossing the tracks.

Another time was the duel, with California Mountain Snake, in "Kill Bill vol.2" where The Bride snatched out Hannah's last remaining eye and squished it between her toes. Though it was one of the funniest things I've ever seen...that would so totally suck.

That's just me though. I have a few friends who marvel in gore. They'll pretty much laugh (or be intrigued) at anyone who gets a finger blown off *movie-wise of course*.

Kuda was laughing hysterically at Black Hawk Down when one of the soliders found this guys hand and wrist (still connected) laying on the ground with a watch on it..The solider picked it up and put it in his pocket. He also laughed at the guy who got blown in half his his guts hanging out...i just kinda stared and then smacked him for laughing. XD
