Hi a;ll i have just read about a red spread needle that shoots red needles on this site http://tkdsouth.tripod.com/index.pso.html but i can't seem to find it in the game, they are promising a FAQ and pic soon?
has any one else seen or heard of this?

Ah, Another Spread Needle to further promote skilless players. The needles aren't completely bad though. They have some pratical uses, such as when you just wanna lvl up offline and don't feel like takign forever. Still, Since i know most players would use the Needle online and be EXP hogs with it I am against the new Red Needle.

Red weapons are weapons used by Red Ring Rico. She is a HUmarl. Only RAmar/marl can use Needle. So, either the whole thing's a lie, or there's a HUnter specific Needle weapon.

red spread needle sounds interesting..though why would you need it..when an s rank needle is better anyway

Here's hoping it's false. You'd think Sonic Team would realize that the majority of players just *don't* want another damn Needle. Why they keep resurrecting and strengthening this stupid weapon is beyond the comprehension of a normal human being.

No kidding. When will they realize that *no one* wants to see Hunters running around with a Needle? If I see SSJ Vegetaroth shooting that Needle in one more game, I'm going to explode. I hate it when those morons say "hey itz cool i dont have to aim lolz," then proceed to freaking DIE anyway. And there I am using something like a Red Saber and LIVING.
A Red Needle would destroy any respect I ever had for the character of Red Ring Rico. Pioneer 2's most skilled Hunter, my ass. The Red Needle's very existence would destroy the entire basis of the storyline. That's how bad an idea it is.
Geez, I'm getting pretty angry with Sonic Team right now. It was bad enough when they made an S-Rank version.

This just reeks of BS if you ask me, I mean, something would have been said somewhere, on some legit PSO GC site. The only bit of info about PSO GC I saw on that site was just that the BBA/Modem adapters coming out in September.

If this weapon ends up existing, I'll import Suikoden III instead. And learn Japanese to play it. So, by including a Red Needle, they'll actually end up losing money. It may not be much, but a financial loss on a crackpot decision is still a financial loss on a crackpot decision.
Honestly, they've been walking on thin ground lately as-is. Keyboard controller? That's got to be somebody's idea of a bad joke. Awful, awful hybrid. You'd think they would try to *avoid* crossing the proverbial line, not run across it, go SSJ and shoot me with a red Spread Needle. Sheesh.

Spread needle is a great idea... if your idea of an enjoyable time is moving your character into a room, tapping A-A-A, and then you win.

mm.... we can always avoid those spread-luvers.... when I last played on PSO, my friends DID use some other non-spread weapons, when I ask them nicely not to... so, there's bound to b at least 1 player that will actually THINK OF OTHERS, rather than him/herself ONLY

I'm hoping the whole rumor got started when it was revealed that the old Spread Needle is for Rangers only. Shocked and scared, with no Spread Needle to hide under, Sephiroth wishes they would make a new Needle for the Hunters. Now, we all know the mental process of a Sephiroth, so it wasn't long before he started to believe this Hunter Needle actually existed. Excited about his new discovery, Sephiroth comes online and posts it on, I don't know, GameFAQs. The sensible people realize that the idea of a Red Needle is ridiculous and shrug it off, but the skill-less among them accept the idea for no other reason than they want it to be true. Gradually the rumor spreads, and here we are.
I think until I see a picture of it I'll assume it doesn't exist. It would be quite braindead on the part of Sonic Team to take the old Spread Needle away from Hunters just to give them this new, more powerful version.

Even seeing a picture of it would'nt prove it. It would be easy to fake a picture of a red spread needle, it would just take alittle PSP editing.
Until a legitate PSO site lists it as a real weapon, it's not true.
And I agree, if Red Ring Rico were so damn powerful and such a great hunter, why would she need a spread needle?
Ah..so much fun, the rumor game.
First off, if anyone even looked at the site, they would see there is nothing even about a red needle. Also, if there ever was at a time, it must have been about finding one in DC ver2, because mikev2 asked how he could find it. There is also another topic like this at Mamak and the poster says it is supposed to be in a new DC ver2 quest.

The main reason why i dislike spread needles is that it was probally the most hacked when in PSO. As long as GC doesnt share the fate of being hacked i dont mind a red needle. I would hope that would makee the ATA too high for non Android hunters to use and possible made it a bit slower. But if in fact they do release a Red Needle, and GC is uneffected by cheats then I doubt there will be a problem.

I found a 0% Spread Needle when I was wondering offline V.Hard Ruins in v2. Overall I found 2 uses:
1. Paralysis attack. Great to help your team-mates by sticking all the monsters to the spot.
2. Missions like Garon's Treachery/Central Dome Fire Swirl. Means can tke out multiple targets.
However I do not consider this a viable weapon for a hunter. Yes in the hands of a ranger I can accept that it exists but for a Hunter it should only be a novelty weapon and used accordingly (i.e. Only when not in Ult. doin missons and stuff)
I have to agree about the Red Spread Needle. First I don't think it exists as Ricco was Hunter as someone said earlier and two it is just plain wrong. But...could be from early shots of ep.1/2?
Last thing, the problem now is that in v2 there are no decent multi-hit weapons available. We need more good swords/partisans/shots!

Couldn't be in PSO Ver2. The data for the weapon would be on the game disc, thus CMGSCCC (or any other GS hacking site) would have the digits for the weapon, but they don't. Also it sounds like a hoax to me.
Also my friends hate me when I go around with my S-rank Mechguns and kill everything in site >: D

First of all that site does not seem very credible. Secondly, Red weapons only apply at this time to basic Hunter weapons so a red needle would make no sence, seeing at though it is not basic (read:rare) and is based upon the rifle (according to it's animations) which is ranger weapon. Once again everyone is totally blowing this out of proportion.

I don't think pso is that easy.
Most of the people play really bad and don't know how to survive.
I don't think many people clears garon treachery in ult mode w/o hacks

I think that Red Ring Rico would have this so called 'red spread needle'. She would just use it offline, though, when her time was short. ^-^
