Muds?

I used to MUD quite a bit for a few years, up until about a year ago. What sort of things were you wondering or want to talk about? o_o

Hmm, I may be able to help you out, I suppose. I'm not much for the knowledge of the actual coding itself, but I knew quite a bit of OLC and just general playing them >_>

What sort of base is it using? I'm mostly used to what I think was the ROT/ROM base (stock has areas like Pirate's Ship and Fanatic's Tower)... I'm not as experienced in some of the others like Smaug and whatnot.

It's built off the DOT code base, and I allow only strictly OLC editing, obviously for immortals only. I don't allow any staff members except the co-owner and I to actually touch the src codes. (which is useless since I'm compilerless)

Oh, when I mentioned OLC I wasn't implying myself building there, just using that as for where my experience lies. Not sure if I'm familiar with the DOT base, though o_o

DOT base isn't too difficult. It's basically just like any other mud if you have the experience. Money is alittle difficult to come by now, as there are really no economic factors in the game yet. T_T
