ive been playing soccer since i could walk, and the one thing i hate about this game is that theres no set of black and white rules. its all the interpertation of the referee. ignorant officials are everywhere. i just got back from a game where our keeper was blasted twice, and no cards issued to their players: one came in cleats up and smashed our keeper and another one hit him in midair, and while when our goalie gets up he shoves this guy off of him, and he (our goalie) gets a card. the ref is supposed to protect the keeper not encourage running him over. random horrible calls continue the whole game with us getting most of the load of junk calls, but even the other team getting crap. is it so hard to just find a compotent ref? seriously the worst ive ever seen it on the pitch.
