I lost a mid-level hunter when I put in a second vmu while I quit a game online and was saving.

this is because it was like removing you're VMU while it was saving. You should never put a VMU in while the game is saving, because it'll delet your character. Matter a fact, I think once I had two VMU's in my mocontrol, and when I tried to quit and save, my char got deleted.

Isn't this topic like, well, common sense? Egads.

That's because the controller's connection the DC momentarily shuts off when you insert/remove a VMU.. thus the corrupted save.

As for having two VMUs in the controller corrupting a character, I've had that happen too quite a few times when I first got the game.. so I always just have one VMU in at a time now.. for anything.

I was switching characters so I could level up online. I still have my main character so no big deal. Can't believe I got flamed for that.

Having 2 VMUs in any controller at the sametime use to overwrite my card list with ones from the other. Eventually I just copied my main card list to all my characters.

I've almost always had more than one mem card hooked up to the DC and never had a problem.

Whatever, Mr. Sensitive Boy, you were hardly "flamed". I'd hate to see how you'd take a real flame, you'd probably burst into tears or something. >.>
