GolfCart? My new apartment is like, 4 blocks from work, and 2 blocks from the bar. The town is small, and everything I need is only a few blocks away.. so I was thinking of ditching the hassle of a car and just driving to work in a GolfCart. I think it'd be great.. get a Gilligan hat, a pair of huge orange shades, and a long cigarette holder like Hunter Thompson had in Fear an Loathing.

But the point of the question is.. could I still get arrested for driving under the influence? I mean.. i'm on the road.. but I'm not in a car. The top speed on those things is like 35 mph... if I get drunk and slam into a family of 6.. I'll what, dent their fender? So is there a law against driving golf-carts drunk? You can do it on the greens after all no problems.

Yes. there is a law. you can also get arrested being drunk on a road while riding a horse.
