I'm getting an uncanny sense of deja vu!
Ok, in case you missed the show the first time around, here's your chance to catch the re-run.
I'm currently co-writing a fairly extensive FAQ for PSO EpI&II - along the lines of those found at http://www.gamefaqs.com/
If you are a trial player and have found a rare weapon, armour, shield or item and have the stats for it, or you have other information that you would like to submit for inclusion in the FAQ, please email me at: jessica@sisqua.com so that I can get the details from you.
It's in a very early state (with a number of sections missing or incomplete), but the current latest copy of the FAQ can be found at:
http://pso-faq.tripod.com/faq.txt
Hopefully we can build the ultimate source of information in one document.
Many thanks,
M.
(and now over to my co-host, Mr. W. Wa)

I'm not sure what the point of a Trial FAQ is. The Trial's going to die very soon and I'm sure the requirements and stat boosts for equipment is definitely going to change in the final.

(Lightling storm approaches again. Lightling strikes in the distance.)
Like your title says Wata, let Mindshare shape her future.
As far as I can tell, Ambrai might have to jump in again this time.

Mindshare, I love your layout. Nice Title too, I never thought 8's and " could look so good when they're carefully crafted together.

Hehe... Ok, I'm sorry to repeat myself, but in case you anyone hasn't yet read the fiasco that was the previous locked thread, this isn't specifically a Trial FAQ, it is intended to form the basis of a full PSO Episode I&II FAQ (there's that deja vu again!)
As I explained in the other thread, these things take an awfully long time to write, and in order to try and prepare for the full launch, we wanted to get as much of the structure in place as possible.
There will inevitably be a lot of changes in the full version and a lot more information to include, but these will be relatively easy to swap in and out if the bulk of the structure is done. Additionally, I'm aware that Wata feels that it is unnecessary to write an FAQ and then have to make changes when the full game comes out, but I actually enjoy writing these things and I'm quite happy to do it.
That's the beauty of individuals, some enjoy doing things that others don't. You may recall that I wrote the Sticky thread at the top of this forum entitled "Challenge Mode 101" when I was known as Chiana. I just have fun compiling guides and how-to's to try and provide something useful that may benefit other players.
The other reason for starting the FAQ now, is to drive a stake in the ground early on that says, "here's the basis of an FAQ document, if you were thinking of doing something similar, why not join with us and we can work on it together". Hopefully this will result in the maximum effort being put into one really good FAQ.
Finally, I wish I could take credit for the nice lettering at the top of the page, but in fact it was produced by a very clever little program called "Figlet". (see http://www.figlet.org/ for more details). Long before the web reared its ugly head, everything on the Internet was text based, and we used to use things like Figlet to produce fancy ascii titles, signatures etc. I've only ever used it on a Unix system, but I believe it's been ported to a number of platforms including Windows.

amoralist - One of the conditions I created for locking the previous thread was that she would recreate this, and Wata would post his opinion, but neither would carry on like they did in the previous post. So dont worry everything is under control (or so I think http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wink.gif.
