Yes the delay sucks i admit that but just from looking at mamak who have a list of changes i think the extra month will be a good thing when it comes to the game.

List of changes:

Trial bugs & requested improvements

Bugs

- Androids actually receive damage from a photon blast
- The enemy Garantz in VR spaceship actually freezes up from time to time.
- In multiplayer mode, enemies have been known to die without reason hitting the border / wall of the screen.
- Incorrect welcome message displayed by Weapon shopkeeper
- Item name is displayed in grey.

Known changes from DC PSOv2

- Shock will not limit itself to just androids, it will affect all character class. Players will need to raise their resistance to thunder to decrease the risk of being shocked paralyzed.
- The level of Anti now directly affects the types of ailments you can cure from a character class. Eg. curing paralyzation, poison etc etc.
- You will not be able to copy your guild card file in a multiplayer environment. (??)
- Ultimate mode will be rebalanced.

Requested improvements

- New city or new sections & graphics added to existing Pioneer 2 city (changes confirmed)
- Non-intelligent dictionary (?)
- Androids place traps into the custom buttons (shortcut)
- The X button can be used for shortcuts as well
- Chatting is possible during item exchange
- Browser will not be able to go other Homepages (??)
- Both VR Santuary & VR Spaceship will have specific bosses as well
- More stages into Episode 2

I have actually had that "ennemies dying by themselves when hitting border on screen" happen a few times in V2".I am not importing anyway,but i hope this doesn't mean the North American version will be delayed as well.

If they actually add all the requested improvements in the Gamecube Japanese game,then i say the one month delay is worth it,although at this point,if they haven't worked on this yet,i doubt they can add new Bosses in time.

delay in japan may indicate delay in USA and that will definitely indicate a delay in EU, awww, maybe the rumor that PSO-E1&2 hits europe in 2003 is true.........

anyone else see a patern forming? first it was 2 month delay for usa, then for v2 it was like a 4-5 month delay, with any logic, we won't get it until X-mas 2003. that is unless Nintendo realizes the game is the same and all they have to do is slap together a few images and put it in stores forgetting the fact that the games have the japan regional code on them. (ok that's just me barking back at square that one time.)

Actually EBgames.com emailed me telling me that PSO E1&E2 new release date for US is 10/29/02 so everyone gets a delay

If they only delay the US one by that much (half a month) I'll be happy it's fixed up, and since a bunch of games come out between now and then I think I will survive the longer wait... now I just need money for the games.

I'd say the delay has more to do with the Gameshark releasing on August 16th than anything else. Just my cynical thoughs on the matter.

I noticed a pattern of each time Sonic Team would delay PSO to one month after Gameshark's release, Interact would delay the Gameshark a month after PSO's release. It's quite entertaining, really.

I wouldn't be surprised if Interact delays Gameshark to October. Wouldn't be the first time it's delayed, seeing how it should have released back in April. And I wouldn't be surprised if Sonic Team turned around and made yet another delay. Wheeee.

Of course, I'm probably just pulling this out of nowhere. Again though, just my cynicism influencing things again.

I want to know if it set in stone that in the final game your weapons won't drop and just money...If so, that will stop lots of thieves

I just checked with NCSX and the ASCII Keyboard/Pad monstrosity will also be delayed because "no other game utilizes it". Well I guess this was kinda obvious but I thought i'd post it none the less. They thanked me for checking with them, i'm a speshial guy!

yet there are still no plans for a keyboard seperate from the controller? Stand alone kb will be cheaper and good for ppl with a budget.

Having all classes now able to recieve shock status will change battle mode a lot.

I hope the State/Maintenance unit has been removed from the game. That'll give androids yet another bonus. State/Maintenance was way too powerful a unit.

Heck, if we want to mention improvements we'd like to see in the game ... I'd like to see the removal of materials. Let the players assign where the stat points go. Of course that would require quite a bit of reworking on Sega's part, but in that way everyones character would be more unique.

Yeh state mait was a bit too hefty.. BA shouldn't have it.. except.. droids could quickly get stuck on j/z in BA.

If there was a 'prevent j/z' slot item instead of state.. perfect.

Actually remembering from a Mamak post awhile ago, I wouldn't be surprised if they added in slots for just about everything you can think of. From Jellen/Resist to Trap/Shield++.

With stuff like this:
Idos slot - adds more slot (up to 4 additional)
Cure/Paralyze - self explanatory
Cure/Confuse - as above
Blue Maji - increases barta series level by 1. Equippable level 11 (shield type)
Resta Maji - increase resta series level (shield type)
Red Maji - increases foie series level (shield type)
Magic stone (Heart Key) - ??

man..... that add slot thing takes alot out of finding the good armor. I hope its as rare as or nearly as rare as finding those mag cells

There's something I don't understamnd.

Sonic Team planned a beta testing period of all june.
And they set the release date at 8th august.

They thought they could make the final changes, and fix bugs in 1 month.
And now they need 2 months???? it could be understandable 1 week or some days but more than 1 month delay... is WEIRD

They said they're adding new bosses for the VR levels and they are also adding more playable stages, I'm sure they'd have some unused levels laying around somewhere. Other than that the list of changes to be made is quite a lot, 1 month delay is fine with me. Who knows, maybe they're doing the delay so that the BBA can be sold with the game as another option besides the 56k modem.

You stupid. Finding Armor is a fucking pain in the ass. Now at least if you find '1337 h4x0r' armor you don't have to worry about it being 1 slot.

yes finding a good armor finally and then it not being slotted reaally pisses you off. the rarer armor should at least have 1 slot just because its rare, and then if it has more slots, great.

If they lower the difficulties of finding a rare, you might as well denounce the word rare. There'd be no real fun in coop play at times. But with the new announcement that we're going to a new planet, that'll be interesting.

Let me emphasize the 1st definition against Sleet.

You're being redundant. It's already rare if it doesn't occur often. Too rare equals rare. If you have to play 54,000 hrs (honestly, we all know it's exaggerated), it's already considered rare.

If things come to worse and I need the weapons, items and crap... Mostly the weapons. I'm all for duping and weapon hacking and such, but we ALL know PK or NOL is just f***in' wrong.
