Someone is shitting you. PSO being 80$ is highly doubtful.

Also, PSO+ is about 30$ brand new. http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Phantasy Star Online: Episode 1 & 2 was discontinued several months ago. It can be extremely difficult to find a mint copy of it. One of the reasons for releasing Plus was to get the game back on shelves. As for the game being so expensive, you are obviously being ripped off if you pay that amount.

$80!? O.o

Get off of Ebay and go to a store. It shouldn't be any more than 30 dollars there.

Finding PSO in Europe is a very difficult search. Second-hand is basically your only option.

PSO Plus has not had, and most likely will not have, a European release. If you want PSO for a non-ridiculous price, you'll have to cross your fingers, because chances are you'll either have to pay big money for a used game, or pay for the US plus and a freeloader.

Just download PSOBB. It'll save you a lot of headaches with international shipping fees.

Dude!

Your being ripped off.

Granted, it isn't exactly easy to find a copy of PSO for the GC these days ( not that it was ever easy to find a copy. I went looking for a copy on launch day and only 1 game store in all of Dublin City had a copy, none of the employees in the other game stores even knew what PSO was [ one employee at GAME thought it was part of Final Fantasy franchise ] but I digress.... ), it is especially hard since most of the Game Stores I frequent have really, really small Game Cube sections ( 1 shelf, somtimes 2 ) and the selection of Games for sale is prety piss poor.

I occasionaly see brand new copies ( by the way I live in Ireland so these are the PAL version ) in Game Exchange for around about 45 Euro. I have also seen second hand copies in GAME for as low as 30 Euro.

My only advice is to shop around some more. Are you looking on the web or at actual retail stores?

Also its not worht downloading psoBB if you only have 56k takes too long. Also, if the games not there cause its sold out or they don't have it wait untill they get new shipments come in and then check back. Trust it took mnths to look for the orininal copie which sucked.

a friend of mine found out why they don't sell it anymore:

you were able to stream games to your gamecube via PC and broadband adapter(you can only make it with PSO, for whatever reason, seems to be a bug)

I bet PSO+ fixed it, but why the hell isn't it released in europe?!
there have to be enough people who would buy it, if people can sell an used version for 80euro

no... the new, grey BB fixed that streaming issue.

and over here in germany the shops discontinued Ep.1-2 because they probably thought Ep.3 would replace it.

if or if not plus ever gets released here in europe is a thing of the future. only sega of europe knows...
