First person to complain that this is an old, and over-used trick gets to understand that they've wasted all of several minutes of their very limited lifespan, that they will never get back. Ever.

One of these days, people will realize it doesn't take long at all to access a page like this.

Perhaps, but taking the time to register an ultimately pointless complaint may in fact, take some measureable amount of time. Even moreso, if they intent to be creative about it.

Although it wouldn't necessarily take more time than the average post anyways.

This is so pointless!
It was such a waste of my time!
I demand my money back!!!

I dunno, I've taken quite some time on my own posts in the past. Then again, I tend to write unreasonably long posts, and when in an argument, I've been known to take hours at a time to check my sources and confirm my information.

Plus an edit.

True. The edit, though, was just to post my time, but I guess, technically, that counts. XD

I almost do the same.

I write long winded(in others' opinion) posts every now and then but the posts I make are part of my existence and personality. I don't want to try to fit someone's stereotype only to fall into another.

Its good to go over your sources of information. It will help against those who find fault in every misspelled word or link to a page, or anything labeled immaterial anyway.

Many people in arguements ignore every fact or point made and go straight for the pride shots at typos, misconceptions, and stereotypes. Always a one-up on the competition. Not many people accept defeat or being disproven well.

In FKL here, posting speed is a part of the Topics. There is an undeniable flow to a post that moves at incredible speed. I don't understand this most of the time.

I make my way here at odd hours and take my time when I post. I don't believe myself to be popular here and don't really want to be.

I make topics that I want to talk about, to no avail, and end up with 0 posts sometimes.

No worries.
"Keep on truckin'"

And would you look at that, I probably posted a long, unnecessary post again!
I used the word "I" too many times too. http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Kickass.

A fact with a reference is a powerful tool in a debate.
