I purchased myself an iPod shuffle a few weeks ago and I absolutely love it. I try showing it off to my friends, however, and they become sour about it...
"OMG! It only has 1 GB!"
Thats because its using Flash Drive technology.
"OMG! No display! How am I supposed to know what song is being played?"
You don't. That's why it is known for it's Shuffle feature, which is (more or less) a fancy word for Random. Besides, you should know how the song goes by now http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif
"OMG! How many songs?"
How am I supposed to give you an exact answer when...
A. Apple gives an estimated value if all the songs were 4 minutes?
B. I can't figure it out from the top of my head since some songs are 20 seconds or others are 9 minutes.
"OMG! How much is it?"
$150 for the 1GB version
"WOW it must really suck then!"
...
I hate it when people have to judge something just because they dont like one or two things about something.
If you want to tell me your complaints in a nice, mature way, THEN I will listen to you and then I will reply to your comments. Otherwise, shut up because you have no right to judge something that you have no fucking clue about.
If you NEED to know SO BADLY, I bought it because...
A. I dont have many songs (only a collection of 168)
B. Im on a low budget.
C. It's actually affordable, unlike the other iPods, which are pretty much required to be (in a sense)gifts for a birthday or a holiday of some sort.

The sound quality of the iPod shuffle and a normal iPod are the fucking same. I have done several sound tests and I got the same damn results every time.
So please kids. The next time you have an opinion about something, try the gadget out or find more information about it first before making any judgements.
