I watched The Terminal yesterday.
Talked about it in FKL a short minute some time ago and picked it up.

Alielle gave me a link to a BBC article about the actual people who were able to live in an airport terminal.

Spent a full $20 only to see it in an ad this week for $17 and with another movie, one of those 2 packs wheelie dealies.

Good little love story mixed within the 'intelligent' type of humor. Tom Hanks made a good Hungarian accent, except for the fact that I have never heard one before and can't tell the difference.

I'll give it "four gold stars."

Well actually most were probably 'made for movie type deals', things like everyday showering and other stuff.

Its sad too that when he found a way to make money easily(quarters), and help out the airport, it was taken away by the head chairman/man in charge.

I'm kinda biased since I don't remember the only time I have been in an airport/on an airplane because I was too young to remember. I wanted to see how an airport terminal really was. Most movies show little in airport scenes.

Speaking as one who has been to the airport and flown on the planes twice every year for most of my life, I can tell you that they are indeed hellhouses packed full of people.

Heh, I liked it too. Defintely one of my favorite movies that came out last year.

Very lighthearted movie that was more or less invented to promote various products and companies while providing unrealistic feel-good times. I liked it for what it was. Dissapointing by Spielberg-Hanks standards, but great by most other standards. I own it, so that's got to say something about my liking it (I'm not one to collect crap).
