View Full Version : Max LUCK: What's it mean?

I have heard many things about what the LUCK stat on your character stands for.

1. It increases critical attacks
2. It greatly increases chances of finding rares

I was wondering if anyone knew for sure what it helps...

There's guides on this kind of thing... Luck only increases critical hit ratio, nothing more.

Luck increases your chances of hitting the emeny with a critical hit and decreases the chances of you getting critically hit.

#2 is a lie.

Each point of Luck gives you .5% critical hit rate. So you start off with 10 Luck, therefore a 5% critical hit rate, which maxes at 100 Luck, for 50% critical hit rate.

Additionally, higher luck affects the effectiveness of weapons that use status inducing effects, weapons that induce paralysis, confusion, instant-death, etc.

Hmm? I thought only accuracy did that?

I'm pretty sure only accuracy affects the chances of hitting with a weapon's special attack. Otherwise my Arrest Raygun with 40% hit wouldn't be anywhere near as effective on my non-maxed luck chars.

It has nothing to do with confusion/arrest etc, that all depends on the weps hit %!!

ata dont affect s.attacks it varies from weapon to weapon my stag cults are fairly inaccurate but my snow queen has never missed.
