Tell that to the millions of tourists the frequent it each year.

I expect you to have something more constructive to say. Now go away.

I never care too much about disneyland myself. But I care about trying to meet people. Disneyland is a good excuse. It's a tourist spot, it can be fun to go on rides, relatively happening, and it could be fun. Whatever happens to the child inside?

The child inside? It suffers from angst so we keep it locked away http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif

Hmm.. le disneyland, never been there myself. Could be fun, though I'd have to scrape up some cash to get my ass over there and have more spending money http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

That's why everybody should try to meet in NYC. So cool people like me could probably show up.

Being in NYC, Outrider, have you already seen the Gates at Central Park? I mean, you better have. A few of us are dying to see it and you live there and havn't seen it would be like... so uncool. Go see it, take pictures and share with us!

Well, I actually live just outside of the city. About 30-40 minutes by car to actually be on the island. More like 5-10 minutes if I'm just going to the Bronx.

But I'm at school right now, which is about 4 hours from Manhattan.

So no, I have not seen them. I've actually got some thoughts on the Gates that I'm not going to get into, but my girlfriend did see them recently when she visited home, and said they looked cool.

Just go see the gates. They spent about thirty years trying to get approval for the project. It's up for only seventeen days. Thirty years for seventeen days. Go see it so those of us who don't get to pleasure of seeing this one-time installation have some sort of connection to it.

AND COME TO CALIFORNIA! ALL OF YOU! DISNEYLAND! TEA CUPS! MICKEY MOUSE NEEDS A PUNCH IN THE FACE!

I have some shibby pics of my cousins and other family at Disneyland with me.

My oldest cousin was a bad-boy and beat up Mickey.
Sadly I don't have pictures of that. http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif

My last trip to Disneyland was about 2 years ago and pretty terrible by my previous set standards. I walked around with 1 other person among a few thousand in the entire park. Also we had to stay up all night and crap. Ugh. Worst $400 spent EVAR!

I would like to go, as long as we don't go near that "awful" California Adventure part of it!

I really need a vacation since I've been working too much(but I saved most all my moneys!). Stress level, overload.

Sure did rain alot this weekend though. Tis not normal by any means, yee crazy foreigners. Sorry you picked such a sucky time to go to Disneyland, but that's what happens when you don't plan ahead. Plenty of ways you could have checked ahead of time; the storm was announced at least a week before it even hit.

I just spent two grand on my new computer, and I live in NorCal, so it'd be pretty costly for me to get down there. >/ I've also kinda sworn off amusement parks, but that's another story altogether.

I don't like amusement parks myself. But, going to amusement park is one thing. Going with a bunch of weirdos you have never met, is another.

Man, that was one of the funniest things I've seen in a while. Made my day after a load of frustrations. http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

I thought about making an animated GIF nametag to post here for laughs, but where this discussion went was much better.

Avatars eh?
Hmm, I wish I was a blonde haired guy with bangs and my username here don't make much sense anymore. As you can see, I kinda almost forgot what avatar means. http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif
