View Full Version : Rule Numero Uno

We all know the primary rule of the internet: There are no girls on the internet.

But what many people are not aware of is that there is an exception to this rule. (The rules that define the internet are much like the rules that define the English language; none are absolute and there is an exception to each one)

It is quite easy to spot these aberrations to the rule; they masquerade as males. They constantly insist that they are indeed male, a fact which they over emphasize with their manly speech, manly actions (or lack there of), and blatantly male usernames. Often times these names are those you might know a person in real life by, such as Jack, Jim, Bob, Joe, and so on.

These people do much as fake girls do; they go overboard with their assumed personas. The more manly and/or male a person appears, the more likely it is that they are indeed female and overcompensating to hide that fact.

There are some that fail in this attempt to hide their female gender (Nasca) and there are some who even freely admit to being "the ladies" (Frink).

So, beware!....and stuff.

So what does this mean for Ted, the generic guy?

I have no idea what you're talking about. http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif

My photo in the RL pic thread makes my gender painfully apparent.

Meh.

Like you said, exception to every rule!

You could have easily faked that pic.

I was a "cat girl" once while aboard some PSO DC ships, yet I'm confident that you guys never saw me do this! http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_eek.gif

Just a little attention diversion when my guild card list buddies weren't online yet.
