Video Card help

My dad is thinking about getting me a new video card by the end of the summer. He said that if he were to buy me one that he would want to get the best one out there. So i told him the Geforce 4 Ti4600. But to my surprise there is 2 different kinds, the Verto and the Xtasy. My question is which one is better then the other?

Wait a couple of months for the radeon 9700 same price as the ti 4600 ($399) but it apperantly will blow the 4600 out of the water. It was the card powering the doom III demo at E3.

So I would go for that.
