Well it will be about 70+ degrees or so(around here, not sure about everywhere) for at least a week.

My dad called it a "heatwave." http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_lol.gif
It probably should be raining "cats and dogs" about now, is his thinking.

The jump of about 10 degrees was pretty sudden and noteworthy to me, so I wanted to share with you's peoples, yo. http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

Here's hoping it can stay that way until the planned Disneyland trip. http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

California has such strange weather.

Woah!
You really like free car washes with acid rain then?

Nothing short of molten lava can worsen the paint job on the car I drive!

Its the fault of the dice, cards, and coins they use.

And I am beginning to hate snow more than before.

You must drive a car like my buddy Carl does, then. Tell me, do you have difficulty telling the difference between where the paint ends and the rust begins?

Weather around here in the Central Valley is beautiful, by the way. Perfect cigar smoking weather I think. http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_yes.gif

As a way of showing how hot it is around here at the moment, this happened after work last night:

I come home to take off my work shoes and socks(so I can change them, etc.) and my feet are "pruned" like I was swimming or something.

I do wear black socks(like an old man) and black work shoes with no ventilation at all, but this has never happened before. Ever.

And to think only a few months ago, some streets were flooded and I was forced to wear no socks to work. http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif

Dude, where do you live? The coast? You don't know what heat IS, man. I live in the Central Valley. It's not the hottest part of California, but if it doesn't hit 106 at least twice during the summer, then it's been relatively mild.

And I wouldn't trade it for anything.

Yes. Apologies.

I just wanted to share a stupid story about socks and sweaty feet.

Compared to Death Valley or anything 100+ I cannot complain at all. The only place I've heard of that is worse and anywhere nearby is Pheonix, Arizona or something like that.

I live in the Bay Area. Which explains why a street was flooded and then no rain, and then suddenly sunshine(with or without rain) etc.

I've been in Texas in the summer, so I can remember somewhat.

In case anyone is wondering about humidity and such, dry heat is better than sticky-ass sweaty heat, anywhere, anytime.

You're not kiddin', either. We're spoiled here in California. We get hot, but it's really not very humid at all.

Alone in a world full of Celsuis-readers, we are.
