DO NOT LOG ONTO PSO FRIDAY (March 19 2005) OR ANY DAY AFTER IT!! A group of hackers are going to try and shut pso down by block crashing and permenantly banning and corrupting all serial numbers to every person logged on in every block including the european and japanese servers. Their goal they claim is to get Sonic Team to wake up and do something but what they dont realize that all ST will do is shut down PSO for good. so if you want your characters safe dont log on friday or any days after that and if we're lucky ST wont shut down PSO.

I know this will probably get me banned but i beleive that everyone deserves a warning.

Ya, easy to mod. But you cant log onto Xbox LIVE with a modchip, and you need an Xbox LIVE gamertag to play PSO. So it kinda circles out. Plus PSOX has LIVE updates, such as the one that made it so people cant dupe using the store trick (if a new box logs onto PSO online then your forced to dl the patch, and it cant be found/deleted). Plus Xbox AR can only be used to dupe stuff, not make a person have all items, or make them lvl 200, etc.

Heres my advice to anyone who has an extra memory card lying around. Make a new character and take him online during these days. Because I hate when people warn me about stuff thats going to happen but most of the time never does. I only believe it if multiple people have actually experienced it and not just heard about it.

Oh, so the telepipe doesnt look as spiffy as the GC version, I think people can live without it. I have both Xbox and GC. Xbox ver I prefer to play online, GC i prefer to play offline with friends (and Episode III)

I heard it from the people who are going to do it and they are all fully capable of doing it, they are the ones who made most the codes for pso and they have proxy servers and what not to do it. also do you think PSO for GC had codes for it all along? NO it didnt it had absolutly none they were all made by people the same will happen on Xbox if everyone switches to it.

I honestly feel sorry for those that think people can actually access the information on THREE International Servers using only home PC's and Nintendo Gamecubes with Action Replays. Do you even understand the resources that would be needed to not only access their own region, but two other regions? Not only that, 1 server = 1 ship. Vega is a Server on the US Main Server. Yes, you can hide the name from the list. Yes, you can packet edit and cause it to crash. No, it won't stay like that forever and No, you cannot cause as much havok as this hysteria will.

When you are on one server you cannot do a thing about the others. Someone would have to go to each and every one of the ships to packet edit and crash them.
Ban me? I'll wait on Friday night, on European ships.
Corrupt me? Good luck doing that without forcing a save.

Everyone needs to take a step back here and think about this closely. People who hack the game as of now will be trying to SAVE the game by DESTROYING it. Huh? I don't understand that logic. This will never work, it's a pipe dream to think that taking down a games servers will cause ST US to pay close attention and fix the problems with the game. It's a noble goal, that I'll admit, and I really do love the game so it'd be great to see FSOD and all that fixed so nobody would have to worry about it, and if this were truly the way to do get ST US to do something about it then I'd actually support it I guess.

But, you see, in this situation you're essentially using and axe to try and get some authority to stop axe murdering. If you want to save the game, I think the best course of action would be to stop FSOD-ing and corrupting people in the first place, plain and simple. It's the only sure-fire solution...because none of us work at ST US and nobody can predict what they might do to the US servers if some people take them down. Not to mention the JP servers.

Let's face it, there's maybe 300-400 people tops in the US who pay for Hunters Licenses now, while in Japan there's more than 7 times that number. Logic suggests that they won't fix the US ships because of a few people...they'll just take them down and then all of us who enjoy playing the game in our free time will lose.

I truly don't care about hackers and cheaters and what they do. I'm friends with many of them online and I don't mind that they cheat. But, really, tell me why it's fun watching someone go *poof* and corrupt? I can't see the fun in that.

So please, this is my call to people who are players of this game that I really enjoy...please, let's just get along. I don't want to hear anymore about "stuck-up legits" or about "those damn hackers"...lets just get along, okay? There's no reason to have the game be ruined by a silly pointless feud.

So, I got another serial...I still use other serials, and I play for free. I hakc now, it gives more excitement to the game. Somethin to do when school's out and its rainy outside. I have been legit, it was fine, but I corrupted not because of hackers, but because of Sonic Team's fucked up servers. I didn't have anything against you all...but like I said before, you had to go off and fuck everything up. Im sorry if Nugz or Guyshin messed with you in the past but I did nothing to you all to deserver such rude punishment. So now, because of yuor hatefulness, I do what I do not for fun but to make you all shut up and play the game without complainin about other people.
