Grade point average. Figured by using a value of 4 for an A, 3 for B, 2 for C, 1 for D and 0 for F, adding the total together and then averaging it.

So grades of, say, A, A, A, C, D would result in a 3.0 average for a semester.

I'm not sure how + and - get figured in, but I can't bother myself to care since the community college I go to doesn't use them.
