View Full Version : RAmar in PSOGC... A Question

I have heard that RAmars will not have the ability to cast Jellen or Zalure in PSO for Gamecube... If this is true I find it horiibly annoying :/ RAmars aren't exactly walking battle tanks (like their bot brethren) and need J/Z to take on some of the more fierce baddies (especially in Ultimate mode). Comments?

HUmars won't be able to do that too, also Shifta and Deband. But hey, the stats will be change. Don't give up on your favorite class.

The point behind the various limitations on each character type is that no particular character is intended to be all powerful. Nevertheless, I will create a RAmar as my primary character.

Wow, I didn't know this. Like what Baron Law said, this makes the character classes more equal. Now forces will actually have an important role now.
Forces always had an important role...

Yeah I agree, but now they will be needed more, since every class will be limited with the techs they can use.

What? That's fucking radiculous....Humars would be getting hit alot more while doing close combat and ramars wont' and they get the same stats? sorry but i believe that is bullshit. HUmars should ultimatly have a little more strength and possibly HP than RAmars since they require close combat and get hit more.

HUmars have j/z, RAmars have s/d.. I'm just going of Ah King's info though. I find it a bit strange RAmarl gets all 4 support spells still, while RAmar doesn't. The remaining spells.. resta, anti, and attack spells, aren't going to do jack except heal you.
Wether new stats will compensate or not can't be seen yet. So far they've turned out the same.. I think its more likely the stats don't change at all. RAmar definately will not have stats similar to HUmar.
FOrce always had an important role, it just became a boring one. These support changes do make a FO more important yes, but won't improve her gameplay. Other things such as MST enhancement or improved spells/spell system are needed to make FO better.. taking lvl 15 s/d/j/z away from some classes isn't gonna make her any more fun to use.
Imho.

It seems that they make the female more technique oriented, than the males.
Generic rpg sterotypes.
Guys are the muscle heads. Woman are magical yet frail and always half naked. Although I think the female newearls have insane defensive stats, soooo iam just running my yap.
My sterotypical yin to your sterotypical yang.

Orientated as in MST only .. the RAmar and RAmarl are the only class where spells differ across gender.
The human classes lose 2 support techs, S/D for the hunter, J/Z for the Ramar.. RAmarl should be the same as RAmar this way, imo.
