I was told last night that this "attack" would primarily hit the JP ships. dunno if this info is true or not, but considering that nothing is really happening right now, make me think this was all a bluff, or fluke, or something like that. Only time will tell...

Bah, either it all fell through completely and they couldn't even make a scratch, or they just decided to wait. Either way, everyone knows about it now...not like they can do this in a cloak of secrecy. Plus, I'm sure many people have reported this to Sega by now...

Personally, all I want to have happen is to have people on both sides of this hacker/legit thing just stop it. We can both play the game and not get in eachothers way. There's no need for AR users and hackers to mess up people's games, and there's no reason for a legitimate player to get all huffy about cheaters. Whatever merits either side has it's just getting stupid. It's a game, end of story. Let's just stop this foolishness and get along and have fun, okay?

Well i for one, didnt go online, way to chicken, being a legit player myself, its so much harder to replace lost items, A few of my m8s did go online and as you all said nothing happened. on the whole legit/nonlegit thing, my view is live and let live, my son plays PSO and he isnt legit and we dont argue over it.

If everyone signs the ToS, then those who break it are liars. If you say "I'll do one thing", then you do another, it makes you a liar, no?

I feel I have every right to be "huffy" when I'm in the prescence of dishonest people. Not to mention it makes the items of legit players worthless, and destroys the economy of PSO.

What people really need to do is start studying morality, and see that being a relativist means living in a paradox. A relativist says there is no good and no bad, yet says it's good to be openminded and tolerant, and bad to be judgemental. Yet they previously stated there is no good or no bad.

There is universal good and bad. It is never right to harm or steal from another person if all of your needs are being met. It is never right to sign a contract knowing full well you will break it. Anyone who can afford to play PSO does NOT need to harm others while on the game.

I think what he means is more that it's this endless circle of stupidity. Maybe the legit players DO have a reason to be huffy, but acting all superior (and starting threads about how they're soooooooooo much better) feeds the OMG YOU STUPID STUCK UP LEGITS fire as much as that fire fuels the HEY, KNOCK IT OFF YOU STUPID AR HACKING LOSERS! It may seem like rolling over and playing dead to not call them on their bull, but really, the fact remains that you can't do anything. In the long run, nothing. You can bitch, you can whine, you can whimper and insult them, but it often just makes them mad. And if they did it for no reason to begin with, imagine how annoying they could get when maddened?

And the people who FSOD the FSODers... Boy, that just continues this madness. If YOU were one of those guys and someone FSOD'd you, wouldn't you just want to get them all back? And who do you think is winning there? So they lost an item. Woo, they'll just get it back immediately.

It isn't that you don't have reason to be upset.. it's that the people who go off on the "hackers" of any sort don't help themselves any. Ranting about losing things is okay, but in the long run, the only people who can do anything about this crap is ST, and it doesn't look like they'll be stepping up to the plate anytime soon. Oh well. I personally want to try and find my own copies of everything, which will take forever, but it's something I love doing. I'm just sick of this little gang war. The Legits vs the Hackers. It's so.. stupid.
