Well, sort of, but not quite.
The meanings behind those statements might not be how you seem to think the are meant to say.

Rather.
"1) Find Yasha first."
Meaning you probably don't want to just straight out hunt a Yasha for Sange Yasha, but instead work towards the Sange Yasha if you just happen to find a Yasha first. Then you can pipe Sange.

"2) Get a Sange with good Hit%"
It doesn't matter really... if the Yasha has superior %, even the hit % or whatever, make it using the Yasha by all means. What the statement actually means if that when you're going for a Sange Yasha, it's much, much easier to get a Hit% Sange than it is a Hit% Yasha. In fact, Sanges easy enough where you'd want to pipe quite high percents, so as not to waste the Yasha. And since you can add percents to all but hit, high hit is generally the way to go. That's where that comes from.

But S&Y has good ATA to begin with, the minimum of 15% hit is well enough.

I was fortunate enough to get a Yasha several months ago and banked it until I could stand piping Sanges.

Never did pipe those Sanges, but a friend of mine did. He piped a lot of Sanges before he got one with 35% hit.

I now own a 35% hit Sange and Yasha. That's a nice weapon.

True, but for something as rare as Yasha, why would you settle for a Sange with only 5% hit untekked? It seems kinda silly since a Yasha might take monthes and you an get a Sange with Hit usually within a week. I personally wouldn't settle for anything less than 20% untekked. Thats just my opinion though. I don't have a S&Y, so maybe 15% is plenty.... =/

Bu5ta already covered part of what I was going, but when I posted about that, I was referring to what people meant when they said that, that the percents are generally piped onto the Sange.

If you find some well percentaged Sange in nonhit and want to go with that, that's fine too in my opinion. I just think most recommend getting decent hit on it since it makes the Yasha more worth it, and the other percents can be boosted provided you have online.

You have a point Bu5ta, but if you spent over 400 hours like me hunting Yasha, you'd be so impatient to hold S&Y that you'd go for the first Sange that comes around >_>

In my case, I had the Sange first, actually, it was finding a 65% hit Sange (tekked) that made me want hunt Yasha.

But, really, S&Y has 50 ATA, which is high, with 15% it's 65 ATA, you're not gonna miss with 65 ATA on a melee weapon, not even an online Deldepth in Ultimate.

I just found a sange with 25% hit (tekked) tonight, guess i better not celebrate just yet. I was considering maybe trying to fins yasha, but now im afeared. If a hardcore player can take months to find one, what chances do i with work and school, and everything else, of finding one? Maybe ill just grind it up and be happy with what i have

Eh, you gotta have faith, Grap. That's the problem with the game. You could set out to find one tonight and have it drop on your third, second or even first try. It's possible. But it sure is intimidating, those damned drop rates. When things hit the 5 digits, I start to lose hope too. -_-

I found a Sange on the Very First Ult PAn Arm I killed.
However, 0% on everything...

I hope to find others.
I just want to concerntrate an getting to Ruins, or through Mines...
Lv 90, getting there.
