Getting online.

I bought PSO v.2 yesterday, and I've just tried to go online. My connection is fine (tested it on Dreamkey), but when I go to 'Play Online' there is no option to select 'I have not played PSO before', as is stated in the manual, and it wants me to enter an original Access Key and Serial Number, which I don't have. It comes up with a serial number, but there is no Access key I know. I played PSO 1 before, but returned it when I couldn't get online, and I think the access key is the same as I put in for that. I am very confused, and any help would be appreciated.

The pso v1 info is saved in your dreamcast, that is why it makes up the serial number. You are going to have to flash reset your dreamcast to get that pesky v1 serial out of there.

Try holding A + B + X + Y and turning on the Dreamcast.

Not sure if that works or not... I know there was a flash reset disk making the rounds on the internet, but I can't find a link to it. You can also do it with on of the dremcast browser disks (one of the earlier versions - not sure which one).

didn't the serial no. and access code come in the box, because when i first bought pso v.2, i had two sheets with two diff codes on it, which is pretty lucky
