OK. There are quite a few things that I need help with. Or, a link to an already established guide for MSN Dial users would be good, too. Anyways, last night I hooked my GC up to the phone line (boy was I happy!) When I got to the set-up, I was extremely lost. For the ISP name (easy name thing), I typed in "MSN". I entered my MSN sign-on, MSN password, and the phone number that MSN displayed when it was connecting to the internet. When it said connecting, I waited (and waited and waited) until it finally gave me a message that finally went something like "carrier not found". I don't know what this means. Another question: I'm setting this up @ my house. My friend's AOL account/password and his dad's credit card through my phone line. Assuming that he gets money in the bank, can and will this work? Last question for this post. Which credit cards can be used to purchase a hunter's license?

I believe a "carrier not found" error means that it was unable to dial. Make sure that your connection is working by hooking up a phone to it and seeing if you get a dialtone. If you get a dialtone, make sure you typed in the phone number correctly.
