will getting rid of hacked items allow you to find rares again? I was playing offline and i am aware that you cannot with hacked or duped items, but if i got rid of them(ex. putting them on a differnt char on the same memory card) would i be able to find rares again?

First thing why would you want to find rares if you got duped hack.... pretty stupid to me. Why dont u ask one of ur dumbass friends for hacks and dupes. Why waste your time to even find rare. You people with hack,dupes.. whatever u make now r the prob main reason we dont have great games like japan. If you want to find a rare why dontu just format ur memory card start over...

Rare drops will only be disabled when a game is hosted by a player using PSO-PAL or PSO Plus, that has either stacks (Monomate x99) or mags with levels above 200. If you had any of those, but then get rid of them and make a new game, it's fine.

To answer the original poster's question, yes, if you moved the items in question to another character, for example, then the rates will be normal.

hmm.. because me and my friend had a whole bunch of duped/hacked items we got from another friend, but we wanted to play legit again. I read somewhere else that hacked items in general will disable the rare drops, but i havent tried without my mag.. (326 to each stat lol...)

but if its just mags and stacks.. then im gonan go do a few runs and try it out. thanks.

but if anyone knows for sure please let me know.

Its just people post stupid questions.It ispointlessto go outandfind rares ifyouhave3stats of 100% on a jsword or something else. I see it use ur hacks get to lv 200 quit the game sell it. or use that annoying AR device and get ur memory card fulloflv 200 char be prod of ur self and then ask ur mom to buy another game to cheat on...

Stacking items will stop rare drops for any version of PSO, not just Pal and PSO plus.

lol not really man... im only lvl 130 and i had a hacked mag and like... a sorcs cane. haha force stuff, no hunter equipment. but no offense taken. http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif
