...and it's a book of erotic fiction. Erotic short stories, mostly going into detail about the different actions.

It's just... bad. And aside from that, it makes one feel dirty just reading it. But I just can't help but think that my teacher has finally lost his mind.

This is what I get for taking this class.

Trust me when I say it does not rock.

I've never been so turned off in my life.

It's just awful faux-romantic crap.

And my teacher is actually Jamaican, I believe. He's also a published writer of Gay Fiction, if I recall correctly.

I only know this because he seems to bring up the idea of homosexuality, sexual taboos, being a minority and the fact that he's a published writer in pretty much every discussion in class.

Might I add this isn't a class about sexuality or anything. It's supposed to be a fiction workshop.

I demand the name of the author and title in my inbox. I think this would be something to read. Just to see how bad it is.

Oh, it's probably not as bad as I'm making it out to be. It's just that when things piss me off, I start disliking them more and more until I can't say a single nice thing about them.

So, it could be good to others, but I personally dislike it quite alot.

The book is Aureole by Carole Maso. I also have to go see this author when she speaks on campus in about a week. Ugh.

I'm not sure if this could be labeled "hot" or "disapprove".

Well, I just finished the book. There were a few parts that were good, but the funny thing is that those were the parts where there pretty much wasn't any sex at all.

One part I found particuarly well-done was the second-to-last short story which is written about a woman who's addicted to opium and is all doped up.

So anyway, it had a good ending, but there was no need for the blatant sexual euphemisms, descriptions, actions and themes.

Could be worse, it could be that sex ed class where you actually have to perform everything you have read in that book, in class.
