Megiddo is the ultimate destruction Technique, as titled in Phantasy Star III; it first appeared in Phantasy Star II as Megid, where it would do massive damage to everything on the screen except for the caster-- including your allies. It also appeared in Phantasy Star IV as Megid, where it did massive damage to all enemies and was a key component in the most powerful combination attack, Destruction (Deban + Megid + Legeon + Positron Bolt).

As far as The Recollection Saga is concerned, "Megid" is interpetted as a Technique, while "Megiddo" is interpetted as the magic it is derrived from.

Megid as seen in PSO is a disappointment.

It also would've been nice if Combination Attacks had been incorporated into PSO. Oh well.
