Heh heh, but only because of the chaos...
The voice over and graphics and animation and camera were terrible, sonic/shadow levels, even on hard, involved mostly holding forward. All the enemies had a slower ROF than a colonial musket, leaving them open to be killed with one homing attack 96% of the time.
Knuckles and Rouge (spelling) levels had such a wide radius on the crystal radar that they were very easy to find (the ones on hard were always in the same place, in the same order even.)
The only way to die from damage on these levels is to be hit when you've no rings, and you can pick up your lost rings before you finish flashing)
No enemy on the Tails/Eggman level could stand up to someone mashing the fire button.
The quality and useabilty of unlockables didn't give you much incentive to try and get them.
Remind me if there was a puzzle in the game, because I don't think there was one.

Multiplayer, as I understand, is the difference between SA2 and SA2 battle.
If you really want to hear why multiplayer sucked, I'll tell you, but now I don't feel like it.
