A very... odd PB glitch.

Tonight, I have discovered a very odd PB glitch... unless it's already been discovered, but today, I was playing a RA with an FS (And no C/Freeze, mind you), during a fight agianst Falz, I used a PB while having my FS equipped, no biggie. Then, the FS's random freezing you effect kicked in JUST as the animation was about to go into the PB, and cancled it out, but it gave me a rather... weird side effect, though. It rendered me invulnerable for a little while instead. Anyone else ever have this weird glitch happen to you?

I haven't, but you know what PB glitch pisses me the hell off? When somebody uses a Photon Blast with a Baranz around.

If a Baranz or a Garanz is firing it's missles and someone shoots off a PB, all enemies and players in the room are frozen. HOWEVER, the missles will still move around freely.

These missles can hit every other player who's not doing the PB and can actually KILL THEM.

This is very annoying and can also be duplicated when fighting Vol Opt ver 1 or ver 2 when the final form shoots off it's volley of missles as well.

I wonder if this has been addressed in Blue Burst..

When enemies spawn during a PB, they are free to move. Nasty if a shed-load of Sinows spawn, you'll be dead by the time your PB is over. As for your glitch, Ive never seen that, but I guess its perfectly reasonable it could happen.

It might have been your Mag's abilities.

I think this happens to a player when They enter a room when a PB goes off. The player freely moves around

Uhh, no, it wasn't a mag ability, I think, as I didn't see the mag doing it's ability animation, nor did I see the yellow ball of energy spin around me. It was just odd. And on an unrelated note, it wasn't my char that I was playing with. It was a friend of mine's that gave me his memcard to loot PDs and such for a little while. (He's offline only. In fact, he doesn't even have a copy of the game.)

That brief invincibility you described is the same invincibility you recieve when you initiate a PB, and during the PB's animation. It's similar to the invincibility you have after you get hit (offline) or knocked down (off and online).

ok this is a bit of topic but it goes well with the invincability and pb story kinda........

one time i was bored so i wanted to creat world chaos and get some hp material with my blueful, so i went to go do the fake in yellow in normal ....... lol seems stupid and clever at the same time huh??? hahahahahahahahah WRONG you see after my 5 round of the fake in yellow and my 16 hp material which was quite lucky i had a pb so i was going to use it in the room next to the room you see the prof. for the second time and i used it while some rag rappys droped from the sky and it killed them while they were all in the air that wasnt the glitch though...... so i went to go see the prof. for the second time and my mag still made me invencable i talked to the prof. and you kno how he goes "...." ya then it blacks out???? well i went to go get sum food cause i was hungry and when i got back i pressed a and the black thing happened but i herd a pb go off?? so i didnt really get it but then when the light came back on the game i was surronded by rag rappys so i was going to kill them but i couldn't because they all were pecking at me at different intervals so i was to strong to get noked down cause then i could walk away but all that i could do was sit and listen to the "SHINGSHINGSHINGSHINGSHINGSHINGSHING" of my stupid barrier so i even un equiped everything possable and after all those hp material i had to shut the gc down........ god i hate rag rappys!!!!!!

Why didn't you just hit start, choose quit, and let it save your game rather than just shutting it off...?

well you see i figured that out later... but i shut it down because i was so mad at the rag rappys..... GOD I HATE RAG RAPPYS!!!!!! uggh

Nope, just died on an AOL Cup run because someone let off a PB with a Garanz in the room. Wonderful.

Heh, reminds me of the time me n my friend were doin mult. mode ruins, v.hard. 4 delsabers showed up as he used his pb, and the gits just beat me up. I ended up... dead =(

I can safely say it has not after an unfortunate incident in a room with 4 garanz.

hey well i have had the happen to me but not get invincable afterwards but i have not expeirienced the online thrill because i cant http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif but i am insanely good i got a level 179 bluefull and i just wanna take him online and get some items that i cant get...sorry i was ramblin but yeah that glitch sucks i was on ruins boss and my friend used a pb and the boss took my soul and i already had low health and then BAM i was dead

Well to sound a bit stupid A mag when The PB gauge is full can make you invinsable for awhile mabye hmm....well odd yes it is to cut out the Blast then be invinsable odd odd odd well the game is a bit old and still has glitches so mabye it was bad luck (Bad reason) Well im not sure it happened to me once though me and a friend accidentally used a blast at the same time and it cancelled mine and his then we were dead its a bit odd its around the same subject of a odd blast....
