Hmmm, I used to drink a good amount of A&W when I was younger.
Either I just got worn out on it, or they changed something about it...or maybe some of the other kinds of root beer that are more "biting" took hold... oh well.

If you want a smoother kind of root beer, A&W is fairly up there.

A&W from the A&W restaurant is good, somehow. But I've only ever had it in floats.

Hmmm, yeah the floats are pretty good from there.
The actual A&W from the A&W restraunts, though, tends to be a bit watered down compared to the normal store bought cans... of course, that's what most restraunts do, but it seems more noticeable at the A&W restraunts... at least the ones around here.
