"Sexual harassment."

You touch them, you are "sexually harassing" them. http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif It's the way the world says, "Please destroy me."

that doesn't make any sense. I think the teacher just likes to mess with me

Don't worry, one day something very bad will happen to him, as the law of karma goes (or something like that).

Maybe you could go into a bit more detail of exactly what happened? =

Maybe you want to go into even more detail?

Because something still doesn't sound right.

Thats exactly my point, it doesn't make sense, thats all the detail there is! He gives me freaking detention for patting someone on the head!!!

He's a guy? Geez. Not even a priest would be so strict.

Well, respect your place as a student, even if he's wrong at what he did.

I think he's mad cus I'm actually taller than him, hahaha and that pretty short

Daikarin
Apr 20, 2005, 12:01 PM
You're even TALLER than him!? LOL, talk about short indeed! http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

Pay no attention to that kind of "vengeance", otherwise it will raise conflict. Stand by your morals, but don't be aggressive.

Did you ask him why he did that?

Shiva91
Apr 20, 2005, 12:08 PM
No, I was too mad to ask....And he'd probably give me more days just because

Daikarin
Apr 20, 2005, 12:11 PM
Well, at that point you should ask him why. Asking why doesn't mean offending him, it means your right to know, as an american (or something http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime2.gif) at least why you were put on detention.

And if he gets offended, all your other peers can testify that you did nothing to offend him.

I wasn't going to take any chances -_- he would find a reason to give me more days.

At least he isn't as tall as the school desk.

Altough it isn't correct, it's normal to people to take out their frustrations on someone or something, since they have to place blame on someone else about something else.

I had a friend who went to a driver's exam, with the instructor who was evaluating him on an extremely bad mood. You can guess what happened.

When I'm taking driver's lessons, I often take plenty of stuff from my instructor. He blames me for the things of others, like for instance, he once started arguing "You people don't know the code! You just do the code exam to pass, and don't give a damn about applying it to the street!" when I mistook a left turn.

So far, since I started driving, I've let down the car three times. I stopped letting the car go down on my second lesson, but I sure heard a lot of crap until then.

I guess having a close relative with that kind of personality gets you used to this stuff.

lol, sounds like driving school all over again http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

The worst parts are that I have his class everyday -_- and I hate the class period, I love drawing in all, but Technical drwanig is a real pain, no real freedom

You could either:

1. Do nothing.
or
2. Address the problem at the Principle's Office

Of course there is always choice # 3

3. Kick 'em in the nads!

Which isn't too shabby. http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif

Not that this post is a "omg stop ranting to everyone" type of post, but I will use this rant as a prime example.

This is not a rant. This is someone saying this...

"Omg I don't know anything about anything, but I'm going to rant about it".

If you want to rant, then rant about the fact that you didn't ask the teacher what exactly you got detention for. If something is confusing, you ask. Despite popular belief, teachers do not make up stupid no head patting rules on the fly so they can laugh maliciously as they send you to detention.

Either the teacher was confused about what you did, and you are getting sent to detention for the wrong thing, or you broke some other rule and are not even aware of it.

If it's the first case, you ask the teacher about it and clear up the confusion. No detention, problem solved.

If it's the second, you ask the teacher about it so you know not to do it again. Confusion gone.

Wow, i used to pat girls on the head sometimes, of course only my friends and only to get them a lil miffed, so i dont see te problem either. Then again, i did have a techer who said i threatened to kill him by leaving a note saying to be sure not to lose my work anymore, but thats another story...

Haha, that's great. I'd have love to have seen how that unfolded. Plus the look on his face when he read the note.

He probably took it as "Don't lose my work anymore... OR ELSE!"

Very VERY wise idea. You see, I go to a school where anything will get you in trouble. I know sometimes it's necessary to fight back for unfair treatment, but that would just give you even more unfair treatment, and the end result wouldn't be very pretty.

The term "sexual harassment" is usually explained to me at my school by saying "touching someone when they don't want to be touched." That could possibly be the case... that or that guy was just plain buzzed. http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

Actually, it unfolded rather badly, involving police, threats of not being able to walk on stage for graduation, and a very very angry me. In the end, i think they were only trying to scare me. Dammit, it worked. Sucks for the teacher though, i was a top student and when word got around about how something so simple got blown out of hand, he was not seen in a good light by any of the other teachers. Hahaha!
