How to use sigs and personal photos

How do I gt them to work? Do I have to put each of them on a website? Or can I give it the address on my pc?

You have to upload them to a webhost. Such as Geocities, Homestead, etc.

Then you use the tags [img]imageurlhere[/url] and your image is set.

That would depend where your website is located. Some sites don't allow you to link for other sites(host it at your site and link to it here for example). Trial and error, but you can always give it a try.

When you host a picture at Geocities, you need to save it as a .txt file. Rename that file to .txt and then update your link with the .txt on the end. It will work, it's a little trick that goes past Geocities block to outside linking. Once you do that, you'll be good to go =)

OK, whereever your hosting these at, Geocities, you need to rename the end of the file, instead of .jpeg, it needs to just be .txt

Example: http://www.geocities.com/mypicture.txt

Then you use that link for your picture/sig and it will work.

I saw the problem. You put a "." at the end which was messing up the code.

http://www.geocities.com/shine1_0/DoneSig.txt

Copy/paste the above in your sig area and it will work.

The picture works if you copy/paste it in your address field, but it won't work here. I have no idea what the problem is. :

Just use a differant host, then. http://www.tripod.lycos.co.uk They allow outside linking.

What's different about the .co.uk from the .com Lycos? I'm sorry, I have no idea how to make a website or anything like it.
