Perhaps the poster here wanted to reopen it for discussion.

There's nothing wrong with discussing an already covered topic, especially when the previous one was over, when someone thinks they can shed new light on it.

Of course, I don't agree with what he thought he discovered, but still.. can't be a dick to the guy for trying..
