I apologize if this is in the wrong forum--I havent posted in a few years, so i'm not sure what the consensus was on experience exploits.

I'm curious-- for anyone playing (or that has played) the Japanese version. While the canabin trick wasnt THAT big a deal, recoboxing on the gamecube/xbox was--i'd imagine it'd be even more widespread on the pc since there's no worry of essentially overheating your gaming system.

Keep in mind: I havent had a chance to play blue burst yet, but if load times are shorter, i'd imagine the canabin exploit might be substantially more dangerous than it was on the dc, gc, and xbox.

Again, I apologize if this has been touched upon already--i'm just curious if sonic team is going to go the extra mile to ensure fair and balanced gameplay this time around.

Granted, this may all be a bit premature, but whatever.

simply. no. I don't think there is anything that ST can do about it. there would have to be a kick limit on someone standing still for more than an hour, which I doubt they would impliment.

Things like this have been done for other online games where being obsessively AFK or camping means you get a kick after 10-20 seconds of standing still, even if you are shooting.

so yeah..that would work. again, doubt they'll do it.

I heard that you couldn't gain exp from a target if you do no damage but this was comming from a GFAQs user so I can't be sure.

No, if it can be done in a fashion that isn't changing the very nature of the game...then no.

Main reason I think they won't "fix" it: They don't think it's broken. If I recall correctly, recoboxing was in STs own book of tricks. In other words, they thought of it as ok. Also I don't really see it was as big a problem as OP makes of it. I know several 200s. Only one of them did it with recoboxing.
If people think level 200 is the aim of this game, and they just have to get there at the highest possible speed, why should I complain? They will be the ones missing the fun of getting there.
